"The western stockade has fallen sir... sir?" asked Vincenzo.
General Garibaldi whiped the sweat from his brow and looked over the scene. The wooden walls of Salvador were falling, he could see the many banners held by the Australian garrisons as they punished this jungle fortress "How many more regiments do we have?"
"Three sir, only three. All of them are currently engaged." replied Vincenzo, he was from Monaco, one of Garibaldi's oldest and dearest friends now serving as his field marshall.
"I want detachments from each, small squadrons to amass on the western wall, we musn't let them break us. What of the silversmiths, we have paid them their gold, have they completed our supplies?" Just days before this attack a band of silversmiths were ordered to create Legion uniforms and swords, apparently not enough time was given...
"Sir, no sir, they need more time. We must hold this attack off!" Vincenzo screamed as clashing metal and horrific screams could be heard in the background.
"How many walls stand-" asked the General.
"Only two sir." Vincenzo quickly responded.
"Christ! Alright alright, have one of the garrisons retreat, we will regroup and try for an assault."
"But sir, we have no units capable of attack, only pikemen sir."
"A pike is good enough to kill a man, we have little option Vincenzo." said Garibaldi as he ran out of his tent. "GARRISON TWO RETREAT! GARRISON TWO RETREAT!" he yelled.
"Sir, I advise against this." said Vincenzo.
"Grab a pike Vincenzo!" barked Garibaldi.
The Adriatics were terribly outnumbered. Australian mounted Knights began to bore down upon the fortress from the jungle. One detachment of Australian crusaders ran straight into a band of Adriatic pikers, throwing the men from their horses to the ground, however another quickly attacked from behind.

    Meanwhile atop a nearby hill...
"They are retreating lads! The day is ours!" yelled William Manning, an Australian general. "Send in two more detachments, let's finish this now!" he said proudly.
"Cavalry, forward!" yelled his under officer.
Just months prior Manning was a professor in mounted tactics at the SunTzu War Academy, he had spent most of his life in northern South America on patrol detail before beginning his career at the Military School. He was one of, if not the best generals in the Americas.

"Come now! We musn't give!" yelled Garibaldi as he slammed his sword into a fallen crusader. "Gather around men!"
Close to fifty men gathered around Garibaldi as he looked around, his eyes tearing up. He shoved his sword into the soft blood-soaked ground, and pushed his sweaty hair from his forehead.
"This is a very difficult thing to tell you" he said as he saw an Adriatic soldier being slaughtered in the background "We will lose today."
There was a long silence as sweat rolled down his forehead.
"You will never again see your homes, you will never again see your families. We have lost. I understand if you wish to surrender but I plead and beg of you not to. If you give in now, they will never let you return to your loved ones. If you give in now all is lost, if you give in now we have helped them. We must not give them an inch, they must not take anything more from us. Men, if they are to be victorious today we must give them nothing to boast, we must fight until they destroy every fiber of civilization that ever stood here."

"Look sir, what are they doing?" asked the Australian under officer as he handed General Manning his binoculars.
"It seems as if though they are having a meeting, perhaps they are surrendering the city?" asked the General.
    "Shall we send someone?"
"Aye, we better. We don't want to hurt our image now do we James?" chuckled general Manning.
"Very well, I shall hear their terms of surrender" said James as he turned his horse and looked back "Wish me luck!" he said with a smile as his general nodded.

"Do you understand men? We can't give up?" Garibaldi looked at his men, dirt, sweat and blood mixed upon their faces. They were pale and ghastly, obviously tired of fighting.
"Sir, I can't... I don't want to fight anymore..." said one as he fell to his knees crying. Garibaldi ran to him and hugged him tightly.
"You must continue Hector, I am begging you to fight with me as an equal, as an Adriatic. We can't let them take this fortress." begged the general.
"Sir, I shall fight..." said one as he picked up a sword and held up his pike.
"General I will fight for you.." said another.
"I will fight" said yet another..
"I shall fight General Garibaldi" said another, the trend continued.
The General stood up smiling. He was taken back, he never expected such loyalty to be displayed.
Finally an Australian officer arrived carrying a white banner signifying peace "I am here to speak with the commander of this army!" he said.
The men all looked at Garibaldi, who looked hesitant.
"What is your business, I am the commander." said Garibaldi.
"You?" asked the Australian as he looked at the dirty and tattered clothing worn by the general.
"Aye, I am in command of these men."
"We wish to ask for your terms of surrender." he said with a smile.
"We have none-" said Garibaldi bluntly.
"No terms? You shall surely die today you know this? Your men will all perish?" asked the Australian.
"We will die before we surrender to you." said the general proudly.
"Very well, have it your way. I shall inform general Manning." said the officer as he turned his horse and galloped up the hill.

He stopped in the center of his amassed troops "They will not give in men, I don't know whether to respect their courage or to laugh at their stupidity. Well this is the final blow, they have hardly a detachment left, this shall be easy, tis only pikes. We'll have to charge them." he said, the crusaders nodded.
The under officer held his sword into the air and looked around "To the Republic men... CHARGE!!!!"

A loud rumble was heard, Garibaldi stood up. "To your positions men, to your positions!" he began lifting pikes.
"Everyone here I want you to fall back, and charge after they fall upon our pikes. You over here, hold strong, you are our first hope, hold the pikes low we want to catch the horses, we want a wall to be built. Okay we need around six pikes back here, in case any of the horses slip through, we musn't let them pass. You men, hold here, if anyone survives chop them down quickly. They must have reinforcements." The rumble grew louder. "Alright men, the time is comming, I can see their approach. Hold..." the cavalry appraoched closer "Hold... Hold..." they were 100 feet ahead. "NOW!" Garibaldi yelled as the troops lifted their pikes, most of them caught onto the Horses' stomachs, while others hit their faces and they convulsed, throwing off the first wave of crusaders, the others ran into the wounded horses and either tripped or were knocked back.
A few Australians hit the ground and were quickly attacked by Adriatic troops, others were able to block the inital attack and began swordfighting in the mud. The horses upon the pikes fell, and with them went the pikes, the second wave jumped over the fallen horses and landed upon some soldiers killing them instantly. Snapping bones, clashing swords, and ripped skin could be heard loudly as the melee ensued.
"Christ! Men fall back fall back." a little less than twenty men survived this attack and fell back. The Australians, who vastly outnumbered the Adriatics at this point fell back too in preparation. The Australian underofficer, James, approached again. "Shall we spare the lives of these final twenty general Garibaldi and surrender?" he said with a smile.

Garibaldi looked over at his men, they looked back at him. They were dirty, tired, pale, and sweaty, but they were also proud. Their eyes said it all.
"I await your response?" asked James...
Garibaldi clutched his sword tightly, and looked again around at the final twenty men who survived the battle, they all nodded.
"CHARGE!" Garibaldi yelled as his twenty men lifted their swords and bellowed a gigantic battle cry, they then rushed the Australian soldiers...

The Adriatic League would lose Salvador and Meridia before agreeing to the Prometheus City Accords. During the war well over half a million men were lost by Australia, the Adriatic League and Mongolia. The bloodshed did little to change the geopolitical realities of the world, but would begin a new era in politics. The Adriatic League lost its closest ally, and gained a new enemy. The Pacific Pact lost some of its power, but regained most in the favorable Prometheus City Accords. Most pundits of the time believed that peace was now achieved. Yet there were still the few that held a doubtful eye upon the Peace Accords, they wondered aloud whether or not this actually helped world peace...

      Nice story, guys.

One thing to Capo: same as deity you gain my higher respect for your constant attitude to the game. I hope to have chance to play with you later.

OOC: Yeah, I gotta hand it to Capo. He must be upset with Lorenzo's performance in the game but Capo keeps his eye on the fun - serious fun. I'm learning something here. I'm relaxing a bit more cos I hate losing (doesn't happen much - LOL)which is easy to say when you are winning...
But Capo shows how you can play out a character separate from yourself which can protect you from upsets!

We use the OOC (Out Of Character) tag to denote whether a discussion is either between us as real people, even in icq, OR whether it's our game characters scheming

          OOC

I agree. Though the ultimate objective for everyone is to win, from an ingame perspective, from outside the game, we are more concerned with having fun and telling an intresting story =)

This game has been virtually free of concerns over cheating, game manipulation, people being unfair, etc. More importantly, so far no one has born any hard feelings. This is quite remarkable consider the...well...obscene amount of backstabbing and underhandedness practiced by everyone.

Capo has probably suffered the worst reputation throughout the game. Vilified and shouldering more then his share of guilt (honestly). But dont feel sorry for him, he doesnt feel sorry for himself. Rather take notice of how is handling himself OOC despite all the IC pressure.

That being said, lets all be happy about how this game is turning out. Its definantly diffrent from other diplogames, unique, and all the better for it. We have seen the world situation completely changed in the past 2 sessions, with allegiances and powershifts swinging wildly both ways. The sheer amount of diplomacy thats happened is startling alone, and the action has been tense.

Im going to give a run down on my viewpoint of the changes probably tonight, hopefully everyone else will too.

This is definantly the game to be in =)

                  Diary of Counsul SunTzu VI
                  740ad-820ad

Today i see the people of the Republic of Israel as a great people. They work hard on the land to improve the economy and strengthen Israels reputation as a world power.
Over centuries we have been the play thing of others like the Adriatics, and we have finally decided to stand up for our civilization.
Today i met secretly in the City of Tiberias in the northern territory of Pakistan with Counsul Paul Keating and Counsul Easthaven XI.
Plans were made to form the new Pacific Alliance and I took it upon myself to devise a military strategy against the Adriatics to repel their merciless attack upon my neighbors and new allies the Mongols.
It called for a Defensive line of Mongolian units and a dash behind Adriatic lines by the Australian Expeditionary Forces to sever the Adriatic Supply lines and then send the main force from behind and attack the Adriatic Asian Army and make a flanking from the north then send the Mongolian crusaders dashing through the defensive lines.
While the Holy Army of Israel attacks the cities behind north of Israel and sets up defenses to prevent futher reinforcements to the mongolian front.
The plan was agreed upon us leaders and our military generals.
The Intelligence Agency shows that Israel is now first in the world in Annual Income with an outstanding $148 dollars.

Once war was declared I was sure that Adriatic attacks would come towards Tel Aviv and Jericho. So the fortification of those 2 city-states was top priority.
Also the knowledge that the Mali could interfer militarily was in the minds of me and my advisors.
After years of fighting and absolutely no ground gained though the Adriatics were in a full scale retreat with no success in Tel Aviv,Jericho, Mongolia and Central America; the Axis powers were called in by an unknown source to try and end this war.
Estimated casualties are in the millions with only 2 battalions of pikement lost in Tel Aviv counting to 60,000+/- Israelites dead.
The war is over but peace will most likely not prevail in the coming years. Thus, i pass on this terrible ordeal to my Son SunTzu VII.
I hope he keeps the Republic of Israel on the incredible incline that i have set it on.

                  OOC

                  This was a great session
Capo i was leading you on for quite along time about me invadin India
Sorry. I just don't feel morally right with your ethics

                        AD840

An address to the nation by Paul Keating.

                        ---

I stand before you as a proud leader of a proud nation.

[the crowd roars - Paul, you are God!]

Australia has much to be proud of.

                        [You are a deity!]

Our nation comes of age on the world stage.
The Aussie military, under the brilliant leadership of General Manning, has regained our claimed territory in the Carribean. The original maps of the world and the territories claimed by the colonising nations is now much closer to reality.

We have triumphed!! General Manning has triumphed!!

[cheers - Manning is THE man!]

Our enemies fought courageously to the very last man. It is with great regret we see so many of them dead. Their mighty soldiers speak well of us and we bear the peoples of the Adriatic League no malice. Our war was with their government which has now thankfully changed. They are the nation of Europa! And they requested peace.

AND, we are now at peace [cheers] after a world summit in Prometheus city.
Australia continues to be held in high regard.
Our reputation remains impeccable, for want of a better word

You may all read of the goings on at that summit soon*.

During the course of the AL attack on Mongolia the oppressed peoples of Israel struggled free from their one-sided alliance with the AL and joined forces with the Mongols and Aussies!!
We now have a new Pacific Pact after sadly losing the Chinese membership.
The Chinese remain our dear friends and are important to our future trading prospects.

And what can I say about our dear allies, the Mongols?

                        [cheers for EASTHAVEN the galant!]

There they were, peacefully developing their nation, thinking they were friends with the AL and suddenly they were attacked!
                        But no cities were lost.
The Mongol people and their powerful economy were able to very quickly build up and modernise their forces to almost immediately repell the attack.
The Israelis and Mongols are a strategic military fighting machine that along with the Aussies sees no rival!

Any nation daring to make any sort of future pre-emptive strike will be dealt with very severely indeed.

So, I say to you my fellow Aussies

                        [Paul, Paul...]

You have all worked hard for these victories and now that peace has arrived I promise you all better times.
                        My republic is getting tired...
It has served a worthwhile purpose, but soon we will become a fully democratic nation!

                        [cheers]

I will be forming the Australian Democratic Union.

                        [We want you Paul!!]

Other political parties will be encouraged too....

But for now I present General Manning this award for military excellence - the Cobber Cross!

[cheers.... as Paul waves the crowd and disappears leaving General Manning to receive the full accolade he deserves...]

                        ---

Manning makes a little speech..... he speaks of the horror of war and states that no one is free from blame. He jokes that he might even have a go at politics.....

                        ---

[*previous post here for Aussie entry to be put on Drake's site]

Versailles Palace, Paris France. An assembly of Adriatic Citizens waits as they gaze upon a high balcony. Sitting in one chair is Vittorio Emanuele, successor to the beheaded Lorenzo II of Venice, in another is Napoleon Bonaparte. General of the Adriatic Asian forces...

Bonaparte rises and begins to speak...

My people. It has been a very hard year. Words can not begin to describe the sorrow I have for my nation, the sorrow I hold for other nations. This war, the Great War, was a horrible horrible display of humanity. The nations of the world will say that the Adriatics are lying, cheating, blood mongering, savages. The nations of the world hold us in contempt, and this (He holds up a copy of the Prometheus City Accords) is the physical manifestation of that contempt...

The crowd begins to boo, Bonaparte holds up his hand to silence them, they begin chanting "Bonaparte! Bonaparte! Bonaparte!"...

Please, I beg of you, hear my words! (the crowd silences) Grazie, grazie. People of Europe do not hold them in contempt, do not hold this document in contempt. Do not sink to their level! I have come today not to lecture to you about the merits of our cause, our cause was evil and bent on greed and power. I have not come today to tell you the evils of our enemies, for the most part they are honorable men, but they are simply that; men. I have not come today to incite rage towards nations, towards religions, towards people or cultures. My people today I have come to bestow upon you something you deserve, something that God hath given you, something that a pathetic sniveling monarch hath removed. I am here to bestow upon Europe, my home, freedom...

A man yells at the top of his lungs "LET US CROWN BONAPARTE KING! ALL HAIL KING BONAPARTE!" the crowd erupts, Napoleon again puts his hand up to garnish silence from the crowd, they obey in a very Pavlovian manner...

I shall not be king kind people. If any of you attempt to coronate this soldier, I shall smash the crown upon this glorious land of Europe just as I have done to the Medici!

The crowd bursts into applause, he again holds up his hand. He is smiling... Bonaparte likes this...

Europeans, take heed! The Unified Adriatic Kingdoms shall be no more. A consensus has been agreed to between the Europa movement and the House of Medici. Here now is the King (the crowd boos loudly) Vittorio Emanuele. He wishes to address the masses in order to allay your fears, he wishes to give the Monarchy his final eulogy...

Vittorio Emanuele (Victor Emanuel in English) slowly approaches the podium. He is dressed in his military attire...

Words can not do justice to the pain I feel when I look upon you. I have for years lived from your sweat and your blood. I have for years taxed your lives of money and freedom so that I may dine heartily, so that my children may wear Chinese Silk, Mali Gold. I have adorned my home with Israeli rugs, I have adorned my home with fine Australian furniature. I have dined on delicacies from Mongolia and the Zulu, all from the work of your plowshares. It wasn't until this day that I have realized my error, that I have realized I am not divine.

Another man in the crowd yells "NAPOLEON! EXECUTE THIS TYRANT!" the crowd bursts into applaud, Bonaparte stands up and holds up his hand, he yells "Please silence!" and the crowd hushes...

I have deserved that, I shall admit. I am lucky, and grateful, to stand before you alive and unfearing of death. Through your lives, at the expense of your children and our future scientists, leaders, and bankers, I have mortgaged our future for my own personal interest. Perhaps it is a good thing that we were defeated, if we had been victorious I imagine I would not be here now making a speech, but overlooking some new duchy in Tibet... (Vittorio looks down at the podium, he sits for at least a minute then raises his head) Enough talk, I am here to sign away the powers of the Royalty to the Adriatic Parliament.

The crowd begins to rumble as Napoleon approaches the podium and places the papers there, he hands a quill to Vittorio then approaches the balcony once more...

I hope, kind people, you do not take offense to what we use to sign these documents. In this vile is the blood of those who fought for our country, who defended us against Israel, Australia and Mongolia. I was there in the tents, at the hospitals and I told them 'I shall force that wretched Monarchy to sign away their power, I wish to have some of your blood for this end' and in this vile is the blood of over one hundered Adriatic Soldiers. For you today I shall now let my own mix with the blood of these brave men, they have sacrificed more than you know for such a little cause. (the crowd watches intently as Napoleon uses a small dagger to draw blood from his arm into the vile) Now Vittorio, use the blood of those you executed to sign away your power!

The crowd burst into applause... Vittorio signs first, then Napoleon who holds the paper into the air. The crowd cheers loudly, and begins chanting for Bonaparte...

People of the Adriatic League, you are now free! I shall at this time accept the position of Consul as bestowed upon me by the Adriatic Parliament, who's temporary seat is in Orenburg. My first order of business is to transform the palace in Venice into the seat of the Adriatic Parliament, now the iron law of the people shall echo through the former halls of Tyrants! For now great people, I bid you adieu...

The crowd bursts into applause, as minstrels begin playing. During this time Bonaparte and Vittorio leave...
"Our cause is in the hands of fate. We can not guarantee success. But we can do something better; we can deserve it." -John Adams

The Axis has been completed and with it, a new dominant alliance in the world has been formed. Composed of the glorious Zulu, Mali and Chinese nations, the Axis is un-rivaled both diplomatically and militarily.

Shareef of the Mali is both a glorious diplomat and general. He almost single handedly brought order to the world at Prometheus City. While Shakeems blood boiled in frustration throughout the conference, Shareef stayed cool and achieved a peaceful end to the current conflict. His leadership and patience saved the world from what could have potentially been a massive world war. The Mali boast the most cities and military units on the planet and are un-rivaled in their navy.

Prometheus and the Chinese add a much needed ally from the East to the Axis. China has been striving since Prometheus's rise to power. At one time the Chinese were the scourge of the world, and now look where they are! They hold valuable land in the New World and provide the much needed Asian foothold that the Alliance will need to remain strong. The Chinese are the fastest growing nation on the planet and are coming into their own as a major player.

Shakeem and his Zulus are still the most potent country in the world and will become even moreso in the coming years. A massive Cathedral is slated to be built in Cape Town. This Cathedral will hopefully bring peace and happiness to all Zulus on the African continent. This will allow cities to increase their productivity, which has been slowed due to happiness problems. Also, the large group of settlers that have been working on the massive Zulu infastructure will soon be establishing new colonies. Very soon a caravan will arrive in China and the Zulus will establish a new trade route with the Chinese. With this trade, the Zulus expect that they are the first Nation in the world to have successfully set up trade routes with all other nations. Though we cannot confirm this, we are still very proud of this coming event regardless. In the coming years, Shakeem is planning to divert his resources towards building his military and towards re-inforcing his glorious trade routes. The trade has treated him well to this point and the Zulus have become quite wealthy because of it.

All in all, the players in the Axis Alliance are un-rivaled by the quite modest in comparison, Pacific Pact. At Prometheus City a new tone for the world was set. The Pacific Allies yielded to the will of the Axis. The Axis is now in the drivers seat.

Former explorer and worldly traveller, Rashi Kali has been reassigned to act as a border guard on the newly proposed Mongol/AL border. He will walk the neutral zone between the two nations and will report directly to the axis if he sees that the agreed upon neutral zone is violated. Immediate action will be taken in this event..............

The Zulus have been plateauing for quite some time now, but look out world, the Zulu Nation will be turing a very big corner very soon!

I see the world through bloodshot eyes
Streets filled with blood from distant lies.

Famous Kings in the Ingania lineage

                                157 A.D until 213 A.D.
                                Shareef Ingania
The original founder of the Ingania line. After the death of the heirless Abdur Rahim, the Rahim line plunged into civil war as Katan Rahim and Latrell Rahim, cousins to the late King, fought for the crown.

Shareef Ingania, powerful Duke of Bissamu, and the Commander of Katan's Army, quickly won a series of resounding victories. Within months, after Latrells execution, Katan was crowned King.

But then, circumstance prevailed. Suffering from an unknown disease, Katan Rahim died, and with him, the Rahim bloodline.

Shareef, with control of the Army and the respect of the people, assumed the throne, establishing the Ingania line on the throne in 157 A.D.

Under his rule, the colonies of New World were quickly expanded. A dramatic expansion of the fleet took place, and the New World Expeditionary Force recieved a serious commitment from the mainland. The commitment to the New World Colonies and the commitment to the Fleet to protect it would be a trademark of the Ingania line for ages.

                                213 A.D. until 256 A.D.
                                Shareef Ingania II
Noted for his fair policies in the New World. Though he continued to give out titles to large Duchies in the New World in order to encourage the Nobility to spend on defense and exploration, he also chartered "Royal Cities" along the lines of Timbuktu. Free cities where free serfs could live and ply their trades.

                                256 A.D. until 281 A.D.
                                Abdul Ingania

                                282 A.D. until 313 A.D.
                                Ugueth Ingania
Set up the Maritime trade islands of San and Bamba.

                                313 A.D. until 367 A.D.
                                Shareef III Ingania

                                367 A.D. until 391 A.D.
                                Abdul II Ingania
A brilliant tactician, began the immediate build-up and overhauling of the New World army. Under his reign it became one of the most feared fighting forces in all of the World.

                                391 A.D. until 413 A.D.
                                Shareef IV Ingania

                                413 A.D. until 468 A.D.
                                Shareef V Ingania

                                468 A.D. until 502 A.D.
                                Abdul III Ingania
Considered the most Brilliant diplomat in a line of brilliant diplomats. Shaped Mali and world policy, and set on course a series of events which would lead to the current world scene. Many of the diplomatic records of this time remain locked in a vault, never to be seen. Much speculation on the deals Abdul the III made abound...

                                502 A.D. until 541 A.D.
                                Shareef VI Ingania
Began a naval war with Australia over soverignty rights in the Med. Considered to be one of the more decadent Ingania's, he was a capable adminstrator, and appointed excellent advisors to key posts. One mistake he did make, however, was Commodore Lueth Abdul, commanding the Panamanian fleet, which was sunk during Shareef VI's reign.

                                541 A.D. until 562 A.D.
                                Abdur Ingania

                                562 A.D. until 599 A.D.
                                Abdur II Ingania

                                599 A.D. until 613 A.D.
                                Shareef VII Ingania
Despite the typically long-lived reigns of the Ingania's, Shareef VII's reign came to an abrupt end. Considered one of the finest physical speciemens of his time, Shareef VII abdicated his throne in 613 A.D. to lead a military expedition to explore the North Artic sea, leaving his son, Urbania, the throne. Shareef VII is also consider the most eccentric of the Ingania's. However, he was an accomplished explorer, establishing the Naval base in Iceland and exploring the Artic North.

                                613 A.D. until 646 A.D.
                                Urbania Ingania
Taking the throne at a meer 14, Urbania was the youngest King of Mali.

                                646 A.D. until 681 A.D.
                                Shareef VIII Ingania
With Republicanism sweeping the world, Mali, the worlds most stable Monarchy, began to feel the tremors. Though the Ingania had always been competent and beloved rulers, many people wondered what would happen should an evil man take the throne. Concern arose, and demands for limitations of Kingly powers and a Magna Carta of sorts rang out. Forced into a compromise, Shareef VIII promised the people the choice of their own form of government, if the Ingania bloodline ever ran out. The people, satisified that only an Ingania would ever be King, happily accepted the agreement, to be known as the Gao Pact.

                                681 A.D. until 703 A.D.
                                Shareef IX Ingania

                                703 A.D. until 751 A.D.
                                Abdul IV
Another of the great Kings of Mali. After being brought to the brink of war with China and Mongolia, Abdul IV contiued the Mali tradition of excellence in the arena of negotiation and diplomacy, becoming the founder of the greatest alliance thus far seen on the face of the Earth, the Axis Alliance. Bringing peace between Mali and Australia, and allying with the fellow African Nation of Zululand and the fellow Colonial Power of China, Mali took its place among the forefront of the nations.

                                751 A.D. until 781 A.D.
                                Shareef X

                                781 A.D. until...
                                Shareef XI
The fourth Great King of Mali. Arranged the purchase of Porto Marino, the settling of Sri Lanka. Shareef XI was considered one of the most enlightened Kings of history. Established the School of Leonardo de Vinci in Timbuktu. Patronized many great poets, lyricist, and playwrites, and even wrote some himself, including the famed Ballad, Petals upon the Atlantic. Shareef XI also brought peace to the world through the negotiations at the Prometheous City Accords. More nations then Mali hold Shareef XI dear to their hearts.

Shareef XI also has the distinction of being the oldest Ingania ever, and being the second youngest to begin his rule. (he was 15 when he took the throne)

Sadly, Shareef XI has but one son, Shareef XII, who is rumored to be sterile. The Ingania bloodline is in danger...
