    Well, seems as if we all make ourselves unavailable and then game happens anyway. Very interesting.

    OK, so weeknights are out this week. Is there a weekend time we can schedule next week our shall we hold for a weeknight the following week?

      Well, there's our old Sat night game slot which is now (temporarily, at least) vacant. The only problem is Empress' commitment to Deity's diplo game, but our (old) start time is about 4 or 5 hours after the diplo game start time, so maybe it won't be a problem.

        yeah, after the diplo game on saturdays would be good. The diplo game never goes past 11est anyways b/c some player *cough*Deity*cough* have to leave to go to another game. C yall Saturday!

          That's the whole point, Emp. The game that *ahem*DEITY*ahem* used to leave the diplo game for has finished. This game would/could slip into its slot.

                    Sorry that you had to find a sub. As I mentioned awhile ago, last week was sort of a "hell week" aroud our house! However, I have been released from endentured servitude, and can play on Wednesday. Tonight is "Scout night, and Thurs and Friday I'm tied up until around 9PM.

                    So Wez, who'd ya offend this time?

                    Okay, I admit it; I went straight to the second page and missed the disscussion about the Sat night slot. Originally, it started at 9 and evolved into 10PM CST. If we move it to Sat could we give 9PM CST (10 EST, 1PM Oz time?) a try? It always seemed like we didn't have enough time. 'course Wed. is a school/work night and that sort of forbids the 1 AM finish.

                      10pm EST is midday Oz time, Mac. We're 14 hours ahead of US EST. Regardless, the problem we run into is Empress' commitment to Deity's Diplo game which starts 3 (or 4, I'm not exactly sure) hours beforehand. We have to establish a time with Empress.

                        Negotiated with DEITY re the (Oz) Sunday/(US) Saturday night Diplo game. He will wind it up by US EST 11pm at the latest which should free up Empress for us.

                          Well, it sounds like Sat 11PM EST is the time. I'll plan on watching a late episode of IRON CHEF. Now, should one of the players get surrly, nuke all the other Civs and end the game by 10 PM EST, I'll make myself available!

                            We could have a problem with Empress. She has posted elsewhere that she's going to be unavailable "this week" due to study commitments. She mentioned possibly needing a sub for the Diplo game, which is, obviously, immediately prior to this game.

                            We shall wait and see.

                              Well guys, I am back in the land of the living and ready to civ!! If you guys want to wait till next saturday that is fine or if you guys want to try for Wedneday around 8 est that is great too!
