The Soviet General Staff is terribly perplexed by Germany's lack of action on the Eastern Front. Sevastopol, Kharkov, and Novgorod were expected to have fallen by now, and yet we see not a single German soldier has advanced from the front lines with the exception of an SS force from Tallin (which has not fired a shot) and a few bombing raids. At any rate we are thankful, as it gave us time to reposition troops, tear up hundreds of miles of railroads, and sell a thousand gold worth of improvements.

Also, Hitler's cowardice has allowed the Black Sea Fleet to survive a month longer than expected, which allowed it to launch a desperate attack on Odessa. Four infantry divisions, two divisions of SS stormtroopers, two fighter squadrons, one flotilla of Ju-88 bombers, and one division of Panzer IV's were all caught off guard and slaughtered in the city by our surface ships and a small force of mobile infantry.

Little else happened this month, except that we shot down FOUR Ju-88 squadrons outside our cities. The Luftwaffe can expect similar casualties if they continue to launch lone air raids without any progress on the ground to get to our fighters.

Operation GroBe-Kommunistische Punischment Initiated along the whole Eastern Front, a massive offensive with over 150 divisions, hundreds of squadrons of bombers and fighters have rained death on the inferior communist scum that begs to be erradicated. Fascist superiority was demonstrated with the fall of Kharkov and Kursk, and thousands of Ukrainians cheered our glorious reich troops.

In North Africa, several RAF squadrons were destroyed, as well as a cruiser, and General Rommel has begun amassing his forces to initiate his offensive against the Suez Canal.

In the North Sea, naval engagements off Bergen proved inconclusive, despite the sinking of a British battleship.

In the lowlands of Scotland, two Fallschirmjager brigades paradropped and destroyed two British divisions and demolition experts destroyed an industrial area in the Edinburgh suburbs.
