Unfortunately on our little rock worlds, there are not many islands and most of them are quite small. But anytime you find a nomad 20 squares from you empire, it's a good thing.

there are often 7 landmasses....the other six being 1-3 tiles each

yeah, usually not alot of production unless whales are around tho

Doesnt matter, just rushbuy your temple and market.
Main thing is its on a different cont and has a lot of arrows floating around in the sea

OH WITHOUT a doubt..... it can be pricey to deliver caravans from there tho....better when its routes are demanded by your capital

Its more of a destination for your vans then a starting point, I love it when you get unlimited hides in one of those

I must admit that a smile comes to my face when delivering a van full of hides , I see that I can do it all again next turn.

Yeah... you just have to love the repeating hides

But it is challanging when the island is just a single non dot grassland with no production what so ever

not if you have gold
