That's why I like to save the turns... somethings just don't look "natural". I can understand following rivers or hut patterns... but bee lining to the cap gets old quick.

I prefer the river grassland for that extra science (and food). The forest and whale only give you three beakers. But I'll settle in a pinch. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Yeah, but I remember back in civI you could steal the sea based specials by putting a ship on them. Think of some of the sea battles that would cause. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

When build on a normal grass this turns to 7 turns and you have to keep moving the worker in order to not waste shields.
The forest and whale only give you three beakers.
I dont give a rats ass about rivers in 2x production, usualy you end up placing city's where you dont want them in order to maintain a good infrastructure, a rivermouth with the shielded grass+ whale or forrest and fih are nice though.

And yes, on our tiny rocks, river forests rock. Of course most of my non forested river squares are forests before the sessions are done. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
