I have forgotten what the numbers on a city represent, is it population???? My wife asked and i completely froze.

Well... sort of, IIRC the correspondence is that a city size of n represents a population of 5n(n+1) thousand people...

1 = 10,000
2 = 30,000
3 = 60,000

That is exactly it!
For example a size 10 city=550,000 people.
1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10=55*10,000=550,000.Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

You're right! That's one handy formula I should remember...
Still, I think I'm right since the constant string "0,000" is appended to the population... Then again, doing 0.5 * n * (n+1) would be much simpler than devising some function to do the addition I described.

So this would mean one pop-point represents 10.000 guys. Hmm according to this I'm really wondering why in the world 10.000 people could only produce two grain and one shield in one year. Very lazy guysDance to Trance

A pop point of 2=30,000 guys.
n(n+1)/2=m*1000
2(2+1/2=3*1000=30000.Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!
