    Thanks guys .

I believe about a thousand my posts were devoted to PBEM set-up, and additional few hundred later in multiplayer communities.

Then, some posts about Civ 3 and other games, and massive spam in the staff room .

Do posts in the staff room count towards Post Count?

Does ming have a spam thread there he posts in to bump up his status?

        1287 posts by me in CtP-Multiplayer forum, w00t .

BTW, while most posters usually become better posters as they spend more time on the forums, I believe that the thing I posted 16 days after registering here (that post took me to Chieftain) was the single best thing I've posted thus far.

Didn't we already have one at the time?

Sorry, have I got misalinged here? We had kings, settlers, princes and warlords and things when you registered, right? I was certainly lurking at the time and vaguely recall them.

We had the titles, yeah, for a long time.

So what do you mean about a rating system?

My best post... originally proposing that PBEM games be registered and the players have a ladder, getting points assigned according to their performance.

It took more than a month's worth of various debates till the system was enacted.

Ah, well that makes a lot of sense.

Titles and registration dates are interesting, but oftentimes it's the content of a forum contributor's post that will leave a lasting impact on my impression of the contributor.

And, no, one doesn't necessarily have to write thesis-style posts to draw my interest. If anything, that'll chase me away.

I don't care about titles. I've been around here for more than 3 years, and I'm still a king. I try to post only when I have something meaningful to say.

Ok, so I spammed a few times in the past, but I did not make this a way of life
