OMG!

"You have discovered scrolls of ancient wisdom..."

How did no-one come up with this before! It's perfect! Civvy, and yet reflecting the great repository of knowledge stored at Apolyton! Can I humbly suggest that there's at least a straw poll to see if it's wanted?

Until now I have never thought SMAC not to be a Civ-game. Since if you look at the history it isn't that hard to see were SMAC comes from.

So hope you'll excuse me, but IMHO SMAC is a Civ-game.
And Apolyton doesn't have CTP either mentioned... It too comes from Civ. So isit so hard to just have an Civ-game? (Oh, and do try the Civ-games sometime)
There are those that would disagree with you. As a matter of fact all I hear from people is that SMAC isn't CIV. I played CTP and was bored out of my mind. Is CIV that different from CTP? Anyway, this isn't a discussion about what is and what isn't civ. All I'm saying is that there are a lot of people here that came for SMAC. You can laugh all you want.

"Sire, your fame now exceeds even that of Dan Quayle." It's the only option that might be slightly humorous to somebody who is not a Civ fanatic, and therefore it is the only option that I would be seen wearing in public.

I'm adding a vote for the "scrolls of ancient wisdom" quote. Like they said above, it is the most accurate portrayal of 'Poly (as we'd like it to be )

BTW Markos, you do realize that you've opened yourself up to an endless stream of whining from the people whose choices you don't make into shirts. Of course, after having run 'Poly for this long, you're probably already used to dealing with endless whining...

And a success (which it will be, I'm sure) might lead to the offering of more products in the future? (such as poloshirts, GP ) I would want one of those too, actually.
And an Apolyton sweater.
