Contribution to Apolyton: Spam. Civ II/III sections

Description:
Rasputin's past history is not well known. However Rasputin is currently spamming the Civ II and III sections with useful and useless ideas.
He also posts heavily in the Off-Topic and Apolyton/Community sections.
To "Pull a Rasputin" is to make 200 posts in one day or 1000 posts in a month even after a 300 PCR.

He is a fairly humorous poster.

99. Cecil
Former Usernames: EvC, EVC, Evan VonChristoph, Chris EvC(and many others)
Former Titles: Apolyton Daffy Duck (Given to him by Stefu?)
Famous DL's?: (none known though popular speculation holds that Giancarlo and CivNation2001 are his DL's )
Real Name: Chris Evan VonChristoph
Age Group: 18-21

Contribution to Apolyton: Spam. Micronations. Spam. Apolytown. Spam. "Funposts". Humor.

Description:
[He belongs in 20th place in posts, I was too lazy to move him after the list was compiled]

My first introduction to EvC was when he was using the login Evan VonChristoph and announced in a thread that he was homosexual.

Well... after that colorful introduction I soon learned that he was one of Apolyton's legends! He had been one of the major spammers of 1999 and had joined Giant_Squid and Jasonian in Apolyton Micronationalism in the Audenitor Independent Nation- which was formerly called Apolyton Independent Nation, but, because MarkG and DanQ raised legal issues, the name was changed.
The AIN disbanded in late 1999 and EvC moved to the FIoJ "Flying Islands of Jasonia", but he soon became bored of Micronationalism and returned to Apolyton where he has since appeared at varying times... Mostly every 3 months (when the name change feature becomes active) he will change his name and post a lot.

Contribution to Apolyton: Spam. Spam. "Funposts" Humor. Angry posts. (and I have heard... vulgar posts?)

Description:
He has been sighted at Sidgames.com and used to post a lot in the Alpha Centauri section there.

Later when he moved to Apolyton he spammed and was banned numerous times.

Fast_Eddie changed his name to ghen because
It is quicker to type and I like it better. I use it everywhere now
It also allowed him to spam much more often.

He left Apolyton after throwing a tantrum because all 9 DL's of his were discovered and banned and his login was banned for some length.
His only comment about Apolyton that I could solicit at CGN was
"It just isn't my type of site- I don't agree with the leadership there"
(Not quoted Word by Word)
He left Apolyton in September 2000.

His time at CGN was breif. Lasting from November 2000 to Late December 2000 because he felt restrictive by the new rules imposed upon Off-Topic posters.
These new rules were crafted by the OT mods, DarkCloud and Sunday Mourning ("orange" at Apolyton) and Chris Wilkinson CGN's co-founder.

Contribution to Apolyton: Alpha Centauri section

Description:
I first met LightEning in the Civ III ideas section and we exchanged several ideas for Civ III.

He wrote, for a time, in "The Chiron Chronicle" a series in the AC-Fiction section chronicling the AC factions' lives on Chiron.
He also posts in the "Apolyton" section on occasion.

In September he spoofed Urban Ranger's username and changed his name to Rural Ranger and elicted many laughs for his 'zany joke'
Urban Ranger thanked LightEning for the spoof... considering himself
honored

Nationality: English
Lives: Cambridge?
Had/Has A Website: No
Contribution to Apolyton: Off-Topic whiner

Description:
An Englishman who feels oppressed and neglected. Few people notice him except for other Englishmen who feel his pain.

He took the name Seneca because:
Blame Thucydides...
I don't know where he is now, but I saw his name and though 'Aha! A historically aware, classically-biased site!' Theben was also around, and I imagined him to be somehow enamoured of the ancient city of Thebes (either Greece or Egypt).
Caesar the Great, Alexander's Horse and Alexander the Great were also posting that day, so I felt bound to choose a Classical name.
Cicero was taken, so Seneca was the next best thing.
He usually complains for being oversighted in 'popularity' threads such as "Your favorite Top 10 Posters" and "The Apolyton Hall of Fame", but everyone has a special place in their hearts for loveable Seneca who posts "feel-good" posts and good Off-Topic posts.

Description:
I first met Dracon when he was looking for a good name for his new rock music group... I'm not sure what he settled on, however.

Dracon owns a Civ II site that had some good material and a spam forum that is little used.
The forum even has a "Spam" section for people to purposely spam in. Paul Hanson overused that part of the forum and made over 99 topics with trash in them.
The site and forum are abandoned now.

He contributed to the Civ III ideas section, but it was truly in the OT where he left his mark with The Apolyton Yearbook, a guide to all Apolytoners that included their pictures.

He contributed in other ways to Apolyton... but little has been said of exactly how he contributed.

He has a great talent for writing and for telling a story.
He is a true gem of Apolyton, he is a versatile poster, having a humorous side, a serious side, a factual side, a joking side, and anything you could ask for in a poster.

He owns the Civworld forums which did not succeed against Apolyton and have since rotted with only
phoenixcager and Michael Jesczenka posting there irregullarly.

Fallen Angel Lord was a humorous poster how stopped posting regularly in December 2000.

In January 2001 he 'Transcended' and changed his name to Master Angel Bob and posted everything as if he was an agent of God... Perhaps he was... we may never know?

Description:
There are three Scouse Gits.
One, the original, SG1 is the father of SG3 and a good friend of SG2. SG1 is a civil war and ironclad buff. He likes all things related to war and Civilization II.
SG2 is much like SG1, except his relation to SG1 is that of friend.
SG3 is known to Apolyton as SG1's
brat daughter
(SG3- please do not be angered at me, that is a quote from your father in the Apolyton/Community section )

Currently SG3 is trying to petition for an avatar of her own, because she does not appreciate the ironclad that her father and SG2 use for their posts.

I first got to know the Scouse Gits in August 2000, where someone made a reference to there being three of them.
I did not confirm this until the threre SG's posted in a thread made by CornMaster in November 2000.

The Scouse Gitses are British.

I am not sure if onepaul meant to be insulting, hopefully he did not, however, he was a great teacher of how I should behave on Apolyton, and for that, I thank him.

Contribution to Apolyton: Build the Apolyton culture

Description:
I am Eroberer, and I've been Eroberer on here for almost three years now. I came here and argued with Red Trotskyite until I became a leftist, argued with Berzerker until I became a rightist, and gently settled back into leftism due to, I'm sure, the lack of proper libertarian posts around here now (or maybe 'cus I just don't read those anymore anyway). I long for the early days of Apolyton, in all honesty, although the middle era was great, too, even if I didn't post in it

I'm atheist, 5'10", blondish hair, blue eyes, resigned to philosophical skepticism, 18 years old, just finished advanced high school courses, going off to the Univerisity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next year...

My real contribution could be having helped build Apolyton culture, while never really participating in it.
Or the enormous debates that gave Starchild something to do while sipping coffee in the morning, even though I blame myself for Porphyrogenitus's departure.

He is always bragging about how rich he is now that he is a retired lawyer in Texas, and yet he has only once said exactly how rich he was Feb or March 2001 in the Off-Topic Thread "Just how Rich is Lefty?"

Lefty was a rising poster in the Off-Topic and Apolyton Community sections for a few months in November through March. Since April he has spent less time at Apolyton than before, but still posts.

(The first time I used the internet was an AOL Free Trial... thus It really didn't count as 'using the internet' so much as 'Using AOL')
His website had in-depth historical scenarios and other goodies for Civilization II.

When I came to Apolyton's Forums for the second time in August 2000
(The previous time I visited Apolyton's Forums was May 2000, but I didn't want to register, so I couldn't read any posts )
Well, when I first came to Apolyton and entered the OT I asked about Michael and heard that he left the forums after a messy argument with Giant_Squid.
Later however, I learned that he still lurked in the Apolyton forums as "Magyar Crusader", but I did not believe that Mark and Dan would allow a DL to roam free, so I did not contact him.

In December 2000 or so, his excellent Civ II website disappeared and I searched for Michael to try to contact him.
I found him on Master Angel Bob's website and attempted to talk to him; but he did not return to the forums there.

His total posts are His current number plus 1645 from his disabled login and 1600 from a 1/2 PCR that he got in the Area 25 scandal.

He is currently in College in York, England, but lived in Sweden for much of his life.

Over his years here at apolyton, has become good freinds with several posters, Orangesfwr, Albert Speer, Mleonard, EvC, Provost Harrison, Andz, Empress and others to a lesser extent.
It has been interesting, very interesting people, some kind and considerate, other not so much.
Decent civ 2 player, plays aok (Age of Kings) and red alert from time to time, chess sporatically.
Greatly enjoys running and of course a huge fan of the Rolling Stones. Banned in the area 25 scandal and many other times (anyone remember f'uck in my smilies.. numerous times, bastards limited # of smilies in post now )
I was originally Caesar the Great, long before there was a registered user, Caesar. I change my name temporarily, but I got tired of it and changed back asap, in the meantime some newbie had taken my former username.
Is becoming tired of apolyton to some extent, but still reflects his issues strongly on subjects such as music, religion and anything involving teenagers (suicide, depression etc)

He then came back as Andz, but disappeared and started posting as Chaos Warrior, attempting to trick the other posters that he had left. He gave himself away when he asked Eli to post something for him.
He then changed his name to Ectelion and disappeared from Apolyton in May 2001.

An Apolytoner who has had an experience with a Poltergeist while on a trucking delivery. I think he is now retired from trucking.
He helped organize the Apolytoner's House, a charity home for a woman in the Phillipines, Karen Mills. The home was built from the funds of Apolytoners.
Alexander's Horse and him got into an argument about the house, I'm not sure why, AH ended up banned because he took the argument from PM's to the board and spent a week at ACOL.
Formerly served in the US Cavalry (airforce) ???
And according to Stefu he's always trying to get Apolytoners to date Phillipine Girls

2. Note: I said he "posts" in the section... He changed his name from Legman to Winston and came back--- perhaps I should make it more clear. Oh, but I never see him in Civ III... Perhaps I should add him to Civ II?

Over his years here at apolyton, has become good freinds with several posters, Orangesfwr, Albert Speer, Mleonard, EvC, Provost Harrison, Andz, Empress and others to a lesser extent. It has been interesting, very interesting people, some kind and considerate, other not so much. Good livin, good drinkin, and most importantly good civin. Decent civ 2 player, plays aok and red alert from time to time, chess sparatically. Greatly enjoys running and of course a huge fan of the Rolling Stones. Banned in the area 25 scandal and many other times (anyone remember f'uck in my smilies.. numerous times, bastards limited # of smilies in post now ) I was originally Caesar the Great, long before there was a registered user, Caesar. I change my name temporarily, but I got tired of it and changed back asap, in the meantime some newbie had taken my former username. Is becoming tired of apolyton to some extent, but still reflects his issues strongly on subjects such as music, religion and anything involving teenagers (suicide, depression etc)
I'm 49% Apathetic, 23% Indifferent, 46% Redundant, 26% Repetative and 45% Mathetically Deficient.

Famous DL's: Blacktide. Absolutely hated the French, was banned numerous times, and is my favorite DL of all time. Blacktide was not discovered until Bolo surrendered him.
