Later however, I learned that he still lurked in the Apolyton forums as "Magyar Crusader", but I did not believe that Mark and Dan would allow a DL to roam free, so I did not contact him.

In December 2000 or so, his excellent Civ II website disappeared and I searched for Michael to try to contact him.
I found him on Master Angel Bob's website and attempted to talk to him; but he did not return to the forums there.

Eventually, In May 2000 he returned to Apolyton under his original username and asked it to be changed- then he disappeared and I could not ask him where his website had disappeared to.

Very very conservative. Also very very Christian. Used to loathe Turks. Still loathes Rumanians. He was often banned and flamed by other posters on Apolyton.

Oft Mistaken for icedan, Comrade Dan had an interesting conversation in which another poster accused him of insulting him over ICQ... After 50 posts and 2 hours the two eventually got things straightened out.

Comrade Dan was well known for his spam and his strange posts supporting Communism and other 'interesting' ideals.

Notable Spammer and civer. He has been confused for icedan at times, and once was insulted in a thread for insulting Australians. He was baffled.
It eventually turned out that the man offended was talking with icedan (another New Zealander) on ICQ
He was also a notable member of Rand Al'Tor's Apolytoners house in the Sims.

Comrade Dan left Apolyton a bit after the Area 25 fiasco, in which he was banned for about a month because of spam and vulgarity.

He was banned during the Area 25 fiasco for 1 month because he discovered Area 25 and

It is sad that he changed his name from "Caesar" to "Caesar the Great" because in his absence from Apolyton a newbie stole his login.

I change my name temporarily, but I got tired of it and changed back asap, in the meantime some newbie had taken my former username. Is becoming tired of apolyton to some extent, but still reflects his issues strongly on subjects such as music, religion and anything involving teenagers (suicide, depression etc)

Famous DL's: Blacktide. Absolutely hated the French, was banned numerous times, and is my favorite DL of all time. Blacktide was not discovered until Bolo surrendered him.
