Should have talked to a lawyer before making that first post Infatuation, (edited for sake of discretion). And as a tactical matter demanding that Mark G judge the relative merits of a hot blooded yet mostly mature ethnic Greek vs your character may be a serious error.

While constituting not a threat, Mr Poulos's comment regarding you does reflect a deep contempt for you on his part. He believes you to be a totally amoral and callous sociopath who cold bloodedly uses grievous tragedies for the purpose of fomenting discord, as well as you being a wastrel and self absorbed sybarite. I do suspect that sincerely believes the human race would be improved if you were to vanish.

Reaping what we sow

While I don't condone threats against posters, I am sure that they are obviously not intended to be taken literally.

You often create very acrimonious and hateful atmospheres in other people's threads, Dookie.

I believe you do yourself a great disservice with this kind of behavior, as you are obviously a clever person and probably even harbor a sublimated kindness.

It is too bad that you often resort to the lowest common denominator and make very cheap shots at your peers here.
Frankly, you shouldn't be surprised that some do not take it very well. You get what you put out--maybe this is an indication of what people perceive to be your attitude toward them.

Second... the first post you point out is just a response to your trolling... and is not direct, and can be seen as a joke. No worse than some of the stuff you post.

The second post he made was far more direct, and shows a pattern. That pattern of posting will stop. For that reason, he has been restricted for 2 days. Feel free to report us to higher authority because we aren't bending over backwards to give him two weeks. He is getting what he deserved, and no more.

In the future, if you can't take some of the heated responses to your trolling, don't troll.

Infatuation did not feel threatened nor even upset. It and this thread was just anotherjoke, troll, and (sucessful) attempt to stir up trouble. Look at what was involved in the supposedly threatening post, no one would take it seriously. And Infatuation would not likey have been at all upset a the insults there. It was just another act for the puspose of creating discord. he can play some of you guys like a violin.

Whether it was a troll or not is irrevelant. A simple insult directed at Infat's intelligence would have sufficed. There are rules about death threats and there is a precedent in punishment. A complete walk for cp would have sent the message that threats are acceptable.

It's somewhere along the lines of:

I think ming was overzeaolous and a bit too PC.
However, I don't really give a ****, and I know he doesn't either. =]



Now I'll agree Ming is justified in enforcing the rules, and if those rules happen to include don't joke about killing people, and don't use such phrases to express your irritation. (likely because somone else might not understand its a joke or that you're just pissed)
But if anyone seriously thinks Chris was even remotely honest about killing, they should rethink their position.

I'm sure ONLY infatuation viewed it seriously (and only so he could troll )
But the real reason for the 2 day restriction was that Chris did it more than once.
Granted, neither was very serious, and both had the appropriate smiles attached, but,
it was going to stop... and a 2 day restiction seems to fit the "crime"
