Does this have anything to do with the page loading time thingy? So why did it take this page a whole 17.85 seconds to load?
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh
7.58 seconds to load this thread...
9.28 seconds to get the posting window...
7.19 seconds to reload thread on posting...
7.63 seconds to get the editing widnow.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
10% dicount on a T-shirt!! Cool. You know us Americans just love T-shirts of any kind. So when are the T-shirts comming out?
I guess I should note that I have all the options loading up so my time may be slower than those with the light version.
For example this page took all of 16.86 seconds to load. Not bad I guess.

Everything seems to be running quite quickly since you installed the timer. Maybe it's like when you take your car to the mechanic - as soon as you have definitive proof that something is wrong, everything mysteriously works perfectly.
With the advantage of being connected to the university network with colossal amounts of bandwidth, the first page loaded in 2.033 secs and the reply page was 1.892 secs. Not bad eh?
Nice feature, I will have to see what kind of time I get at home on a measly 56k V90...

Okay,
I'm not quite sure what MarkG has done exactly, but I'm guessing that the time is the processingtime on server.
Meaning the time it takes for the server, after receiving your request, to make the SQL-database search and generate the desired www-page for output to you.
This means that the time ain't including the transfertime. So slow/fast connection doesn't affect the server-response time shown.
I can be wrong, but I guess this is what MarkG has made.
