Just checked it, Damn, how are you people able to use that style, auch.

The new color scheme is plain ugly and hurts my eyes. Makes visiting Apolyton much less desirable.

And I sign the petition for DrSpike to switch back to his old handle.

I like the default colour scheme best. But please do use dark blue for the links.

I've had enough, and changed to the CtP2-scheme. It's not perfect, but better than default with the light-blue a:link.

What is going on with this?

The light blue is still just as hard to read, is anything going to be done about it?

            Dan? Mark?

              Please?

Or has it been changed back already? Help, I am really going blind...

Small comment on avatars with transparent backgrounds. Mine works no matter what style.

The transparent (zero opacity is a better term) part of an image will always be transparent no matter what the colour of the background.

Not exactly... An avatar with a light colour as transparent colour will not look good on a dark background.

Here is my old avatar, made with the default grey background in mind, on a white and on a black background.

Mine is transparent and works on all styles. When I asked for it I thought that was the point, that it works with all backgrounds.

It does work on all backgrounds, much the same way as mine does. As to the artifacts, they are from the original resizing.

Here is another version as an animated gif with alternating black and white background.

EDIT - my avatar has those same artifacts, I'm just too lazy to remove them.

                              "hmmmmmm" what?

Are you and Dan going to sit back and wait until enough people b*tch about this before you change it back?

I think the "hmmmmmmm" means that he's not sure the style change is worse then it was, but is willing to think about restoring it back.
