The intelligence advisor reported " We have no diplomatic communications from the cult. We have intercepted some communications betwen their units referring to a jihad but nothing comprehensible. We also have reports that they are amassing troops in the border region. "

Foreman cbn grimaced, " What of the other factions?"

" We have friendly relations with both the Gaians and the Morganites. Neither has shown any inclination to get involved in what essentially is a two party dispute. The gaians are fighting a relentless battle with the consciousness and the morgans are benefitting from an incredible peace time economy . It is likely not in the interest of either to join us against the cult"
