          2154 to cbn.

          ____

Tomorrow morning I'm heading to Louisville for a week. It's unlikely that I'll be able to play any turns during that time, however I won't rule out the possibility completely, so let's keep circulating the turns. If I can get a few turns played, I will.

          Sorry for the inconvenience.

          Walt

          Edit:

P.S. Oh, and Happy May Day!

Turn to knowhow2-- 2155 done and 2156 dawns on Planet.-- Great turn rate gang !!!

I would not want to host as I probably have the slowest computer (233 MMX) and only a regular phone connection. Walt could you host again?? It seemed to flow smoothly once I figured out how it worked.

Well, I could host it, given that I've got the best computer out of everyone. However, I'll need some step-by-step guidelines from Walt. In short, I've got the machine, but he's got the brains ...

Year 2156 to Walt. For some reason, although the e-mail was sent on Wednesday, I did not get it until tonight (late Friday).

                            Hi guys!

                            Greetings from sunny Louisville.

Been having a great time visiting my sweetie: glad you're not here.

In the rush to leave Cedar Rapids for the week, I left my SMAC/X discs at home. Haven't located replacements here, and I doubt I will. So it looks like it'll be Tuesday night before I pass the turn on. We are still good, however for the 12th. Looking forward to the game.

Tench, I'll be happy to give you pointers: there's nothing complicated involved: basically, just run winipcfg.exe before the session, get your IP address, and let everyone know what it is. You choose Host where you chose 'Join' previously. The rest is self-explanatory.

                            Enjoy the weekend, guys!

                            Ciao!

                            Walt

I've got Windows 2000. I can't find any application called "winipcfg.exe". Where is it?
