Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Proposal: Can we all choose a time when we watch the email inboxes and try to get a couple of turns done in a row? I am too impatient to do two turns a week. Let me know what you think. I am the only American, so I would kind of screw up the timing. But if we would do it on a weekend, it could be the morning for me and the afternoon for you.
I'm with you capn_hampton. But what I cannot understand is that we all can check our inboxes at least once every two days (I check at least once a day actually, at 22:00 local time EVERY DAY and most times at 01:00 once more). The whole procedure to get the file, unzip, it play your moves, save it and zip-send it to the next player is (at least during the early game) certainly not time-consuming (and just imagine that I spent 10-11 at work and I have to attend to the needs of a family and one small kid)...
Yes I agree to play several turns in a row at weekends as far as we all have access to our pc's at weekends.
And one more thing : We can use the ICQ as well at least to chat and communicate.
I can see my mailbox all day during the week (POP3 remote viewing), but can't play/send until around 1900UTC. Weekends are HIGHLY variable!
Fine re: multiple turns at the weekends. Problem is, the chance of all four of us being in at the weekend is pretty remote, unless we actively decided to arrange something... Perhaps a mutual consultation of diaries?

Has anyone heard anything from the Spartans? I haven't received my turn yet. I don't know if we are having trouble with email again or what???? Anyway, I will be going out of town again this weekend starting tomorrow. Hopefully, I can check tomorrow morning and a turn will be there. Otherwise, I will get back in the game Sunday night.
As long as everyone publishes their turn notifications, there's never any question of who's court the ball is in. As in the rules, if this goes on for more than 48 hours, they should be warned / kicked off.
Let's get to grips with this...
SPARTA - IF WE DON'T HERE FROM YOU WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS, WE MUST ASSUME YOU'VE GIVEN UP.
I will send a direct notification to the moderater if this is the case...

As CBH and I are both participating in ACT031 and the game has stuck since July 9th waiting for CBH to reply AND there is no notification from CBH for absence due to vacations, weekends, work or anything I'm afraid I have to agre with Slocombe.
Hey CBH, please, give us a call, will you ?
P.S. I ALREADY lost my interest in MP (and 031/033 were my 1st MP's damn it)
I agree with the rest of you. 1 week is too long to wait. We have to assume that he has lost interest in the game as a whole. Now the question is, do we continue on with this game? I would be willing if the rest of you are. Hell, it took a month to get this far. I don't want to have to start over. Maybe w/ 3 players, we will be able to do 1 turn every other day or so?
I've mailed the moderators (MarkG and DanQ) about kicking off CBH, but no response.
Does anyone still have Tau Ceti's summer e-mail address (I've lost mine). If so, could they tell him to kick him off, and send a notification to here, that they have done so.

Remember (you're probably much younger) the 1978 LP from Genesis "And then there were three...". Well that describes the situation with ACT033 (and probably ACT031) pretty well.
So, TC's e-mail until mid-August is : tauc@hotmail.com
OK we can carry on a little bit faster. As far as I'm concerned I will take a leave for only 10 days the week around August 15.
