    Pod lotto luck. One of the reasons it really pays to play Gaians -- no ACT faction pops so many pods. I even found my artifact in the sea.

      • Yeah, I'm just posting here to like apologize for keeping the game stalled...

        But since I'm here...

        "Porject DeLorean went very well. Our two bases succesfully "time hopped" to 3350. We had planned on going into a year a few decades earlier but the Wars were still goin' on. "Human peace" my bunghole. Well, anyways, we're finally here in 3350. Lots of empty land, little fungus, and a whole lot of enemy relics of the Wars. Our tech boys got all sorts of good tech outta those long dead bases. Super advanced stuff. Now, all we have to do is spend enough time here in the "future", make enough weapons and population, and go back to when we came. Maybe even before. Maybe even destroy the Unity before it even gets to Planet!

        Well, I would talk more but I'm going to explore this "future Planet" - man, those boys sure did make Planet into a new Earth... shame they had to waste it.."

                    Damn, i'm desperately trying to recover from colony pod destruction. Still have only one base.

                    Joer, reagrding your early suggestion, I had to build a mine just to speed up colony pod building time. I had no 2 mineral producing square in the surrounding.

                              Forests give 1 nuts, 2 minerals and 1 energy, and are much more cost-effective at the start than mines (exception: on a mineral-bonus square).

                                Joer: thanks for the suggestion. As usual it is not possible to beat you on the AC knowledge/skill (btw I agree, my decision to build up mines instead of forest was not a wise one. I should have thought better)
