Well, we haven't received our turn from HenryMad yet as he's presumably now away enjoying himself. But we just wanted to respond to the uncalled-for remarks of the Gaians in response to our very restrained and not-at-all-whinging comments regarding their progress in this game.

We have nothing to say about Lady Johanna's naked gambolling through the woods, but we would prefer it if she would at least keep her tongue covered up.

Particularly since the Peacekeepers (who, you will recall, are supposed to be the diplomats round here) haven't met any of them yet. We suggest, respectfully, that the Lady Johanna sticks to communing with trees and leaves the politicking to us.

To all faction leaders on Chiron it is with heavy heart that I announce today the premature passing of our Dear Lady Johanna. We must reassess the value of the glow worm experiments she was an unfortunate victim of. I, Duke Michael, will now be leading the Gaians in pursuit of harmony with planet. Also, I would encourage all the other factions to "walk with the Duke" and respect the memory of our Dear Lady.

Aargghh. I had PC trouble yesterday so apologies to Basil. Michael Raymond (mgr@dmi.net) was actually the first to respond asking for the game so I've passed the save file to him and asked him to approach Tau Ceti to obtain the password.
