The Rubinic Scout Unit has not yet reached the other side of the crimson fields. It shows that the area is outside Rubinic territory. Public unrest and general discontentment among the citizens currently prevents the Scout Unit from venturing outside Rubinic borders.
Also, the Rubinic Report dating from M.Y. 2133 is lost. Guesses are that speculations will be made in future history books as to what happened that year - the transistion from the first third of the century.

Planet's first Secret Project is complete. Early in M.Y. 2136 Rubinic workers and engineers laid the final hand on The Weather Paradigm.
ML3dV Special Report: This magnificent construction, rising almost 130 meters into the twin sun sky, is indeed a wonder to behold. The slim, silvery tower-like structure - named the Weather Paradigm - has sensors going deeply into the planet's mantle. We let the 'mastermind' behind this project explain the secrets it holds:
Jeneba: When we first dug into this planet we were completely surprised at what we found. The planet's core seemed to emit some kind of energy or signals. We now have a tentative understanding of these ... well, signal waves. By constantly transmitting these 'crudely decoded' signal waves to all of our terraforming units, we're able to reshape the surface at a much more efficient rate. Gufnork: Diplomacy is quite safe. The only downside is the number of turns it takes to complete a transaction. If you present an offer, you can choose not to pre-accept if you fear being the victim of cunning diplomacy. The deal is complete once you accept the counteroffer presented to YOU. You'll have to wait one more turn if you choose to alter your initial offer. This process continues as long as one of you alter the deal. It might be easier for you to run a multiplayer test to see how this works. I did. I'm not sure if breaking pre-accepted deals is considered a kind of cheat. Since we have not agreed on anything regarding this matter ... anything goes. Beware!
