Some general information:
Having completed research on Synthetic Fossils Fuels, the Peacekeepers have now started on Doctrine: Air Power and will complete the research project in fourteen years: MY 2172.
I also made an economical comparison between the Federation and the Corporation:
Sparta:
(support-free) minerals: 119
credits (with maintenance costs already deducted): 17
labs: 35.2
Corporation:
minerals: 88 (with +1 SE Industry)
credits: 94
labs: 110

Economical statistics for MY 2161:
Sparta:
minerals: 128
credits: 6 (should we be running 50-0-50)
labs: 30,4 (should we be running 50-0-50)
Morgan:
minerals: 65 (+1 SE Industry)
credits: 111
labs: 55
Their credits and labs will increase again next year though, as they rebuild their HQ.
Here are the statistics for MY 2159, repeated from three posts back:
Sparta:
(support-free) minerals: 119
credits (with maintenance costs already deducted): 17
labs: 35.2
Corporation:
minerals: 88 (with +1 SE Industry)
credits: 94
labs: 110
As you can see, our mineral production has slightly increased, while our credits and labs suffered due to commerce sanctions. As for the Corporation, their mineral production seems to have taken a considerable hit. As for the eventual decline in their energy production due to the PTS Raid, we'll have to wait until MY 2162 for a more accurate picture.

LOL - do you see where that PK Colony Pod just south of Tegea Harbour is headed?
To 77:65 (just south of the Freshwater Sea - it'll take 18 turns for it to get there!! - but, ah, there is a monolith to work there)
But talking of which, we are now in possession of some decent real estate - see the screenie below for my suggestions re future bases (hollow circles would need fungus cleared first) but all 4 would have innediate decent tiles to work

No - it's a screenie pasted on to a blank Microsoft PhotoEditor, then saved, and opened with Paint (whch I think distorts the sea tiles somewhat) so that I can draw the manual lines
I guess I could save directly to Paint, but I find Photo Editor easier to work with if all I'm doing is cutting and pasting

By building Iaci Base we have made it easier for the Angels and Morganites to infiltrate us. With some luck and creativity they could perhaps send some probes over land to infiltrate at Iaci Base. If we don't prepare for it, it would certainly be easier there than at eg our Northern Arcadian or Laconian bases.
To counter such possible tactics, once we can spare a B-4, may I suggest we patrol between UN Commerce Committee and UN High Commission to check for any incoming transports? As the Angels are allied to the Peacekeepers, hopefully them seeing a B-4 patrol willl already be sufficient to discourage them to infiltrate there.
Hmm, I just saw another way the Angels could infiltrate us. They could simply land a few probes at eg UN Aid Station and use the PK road network to walk right up Iaci Base or Tegea Harbour. To counter this, perhaps we could construct a few sensor arrays to spot incoming traffic (if we could find a free production spot for some formers of course)?
