Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Wow what a map! Brilliant job.
It looks like they still have plenty of land to expand on ... I don't think we've seen the last spurt-growth from Morgan.
Well - in all fairness, the top right hand quadrant is a bit speculative (as we haven't explored that coastline), and I've placed Paramiria somewhat arbitrarily as all I had to go on was the northern coast - it didn't overlap with anywhere else
And I have to update the map some more - I see I haven't yet placed Argi Narnia (it's on that sensor NE of Morgan Mussels, which itself is now just 1 pop)
Looks like they would be a juicy target right now. They will be better defended, after those Synth Attorneys are built. The good thing is, they are not making any offensive units, so they seem like sitting ducks. OTOH, they might have a reserve to rush those.

I agree, still a juicy target
We have to start making up some attack plans for these guys soon enough. I like your thinking Modo about going on the northern shore. Slip a cruiser transport on the channel facing the north pole, then do a bit of the ol' loot and obliterate with their northern bases
EDIT: But why do you think they are building a Laster Skimship?!
To look for contacts and/or to get those pods. It would be on the wrong side of Morgan, if it was supposed to act against us as a patrol, probe-killer, whatever.

But why not use probe foils for those reasons? The drone problems are very troublesome ... Oh well.
And remember, anyone who has infiltrated the UoP will be seeing some of our military units readying to strike. Let's hope we strike some terror into their hearts!
If they get a Worm out of the pod, they can't kill it with a Probe Foil. I guess that could be a reason. Another one could be the beginning of a defensive fleet. Morgan has cash, so they could be building weaker units, to upgrade them later, thus making it faster. I find it weird too. If I were them, I'd do a Transport Foil, hunting for Artifacts. Oh well, it can't hurt us if they build useless things.
I think we are already making people shiver, not only with the invasion, bu by our general standing. Luckily, they aren't terrified enough to combine against us, yet. [EDIT: Removed thoughts about Spartan strategy. Moved here.]
pause to re-evaluate whether we're going after Morgan, or after the Angels-Gaian axis, or Yang. At this point we'll still have 3 victory conditions open to us:
Transcendence - but that'd mean going after Morgan next to remove them as a threat
Conquest - prolly need to take out Yang before he gets too powerful, then Morgan, before he gets Fusion power and cleran reactors
Diplomatically - then Yang, with the Hive's population - would be a must, either capturing and holding their bases, or subjugating them for their votes
If we are proposing changing it to make Morgan an earlier target, then it needs fully aired before we start on the Peacekeepers

I will, in the other thread. I wanted to keep this one clean of discussion concerning our strategy. Edited my post, and moved the proposal here. I am aware of the plans made before I joined Sparta - I did read some old threads.
