Regarding tech trades, I'm not clear on where we stand either. I do agree that we should joint with the Angels and Morgan in a leapfrog agreement.

I eventually want to deal out some payback to Sparta. Not in the foreseeable future, but perhaps in the midterm. Tech leapfrogging would be the way to enable that.

I did not move a colony pod to the center of the Ruins, but it's a possibility. The spot I had in mind for that colony pod is the sensor adjacent to the sea a bit north of the Ruins, but all that's up for debate.

Morganites offer us Bio-Engineering in return for Neural Grafting last turn. Sounds like a good deal to me, as clean formers are very important. This means if the Angels also get Bio-Engineering, the Spartans get it for free, though.

I didn't open the turn and look into this in detail but on the face of it I think we should accept the deal and not worry too much about who, when, and if someone else benefits. Clean reactors are worth a little trouble. Do you have any idea how much NG helps Morgan towards the good SPs? Does anyone have MMI yet? Are we in line to research it next? Just some questions to consider...I'll defer to your judgement.

The Angels have MMI and have built the Cyborg Factory. I don't think Neural Grafting gives the Morganites much of a leg up on important SPs. I'm not sure where we're headed with our research; we have 2 turns left until Intellectual Integrity, though it could be shaved to a single turn.

In that case I see almost no down side to making the trade. We should check MM's research database for our next availabale tech both with and without BioEng. If need be we can give Morgan NG now and wait for BioEng, if that helps our next beeline.

Greetings Lord Chaos,

from what I could read from forum messages and game info I understand you and the Angels are now at a state of Vendetta with Sparta.

As pactmates, the Corporation will support your quest against Sparta - however: We are currently unable to mount an offensive force due to several reasons:

- Lack of state-of-the-art in offensive technology
- Dire need of infrastructure builds (like in tech, we are a decade behind, if not more)
- Need of a decent defensive force in case Yang or Sparta comes calling
- Infiltration from Sparta - they would see immediately what we are gonna do


Since we were not informed in advance, we had not time to give input, feedback or start own preparations for the new state of geopolitics.

You seem to have made an impression on Sparta though, last year they came asking for a Treaty. We agreed, again due to several reasons:

- We will benefit more than Sparta due to our commerce rating
- Our current income is reserved for infrastructure builds for the next couple of years, the extra energy income from the treaty will be devoted to unit building and upgrading
- The extra income will also help our lagging research abilities (NetNodes and RHs will be constructed as soon as we finish our growth infrastructure)
- We will not trade any technology with Sparta and protect our only advantage: Bio-Engineering.

Our offer for technology cooperation is still open - it worked well with Bio-Engineering and it may work well for the future - like we offered Polymorphic Software to you this turn. If there is anything more we can do, just ask.

Please pass on the relevant parts of this info to the Angels (= our Treaty with Sparta does not mean taking sides!).
