Drone riots at Blessed Autumn - oops
Rushed a rec commons and a rec tank, but generally conserving ECs
Killed adjacent Hive unit; at end of turn, two more Hive combat units and a Hive crawler (go figure) moved in.
Switched gun foil (1-1-4) production to 2-2-4, adding one row to the unit's cost but prototyping Lasers and Synthmetal.
    Ecological Engineering next turn.

      Discovered solar flares.

Rushed a rec tanks; several bases finished production and started on mostly rec tanks, crawlers, and colony pods.

Finished EcoEng. For lack of other input, and because it puts us on course to D:AP, picked HEC.

Sent EcoEng to Angels pre-accepted, as that's what our deal seemed to be.

Killed Hive stack, moved sea former towards position. After end of turn, Hive rover moved to a spot two away from our worms. Note they are safe as the intervening tile is forest.

Rushed a rec tank and our laser foil.
Started a mine on a rocky tile
Sent a pre-accepted treaty to the Morganites
        HEC in 11 turns
Yang approached with his rover and some more units after the end of our turn.

Received HEC from Angels - started Environmental Economics as that had been our goal for a while. Synthetic Fossil Fuels was also an option.

Accepted Pact from Morgan, by a majority vote.
          Morgan's state:
Lots of tech, but not much tech/turn, so their next researched tech is scheduled for 2180.
More military units than us, but scattered across many different designs. Though they're fighting a war, they aren't doing it whole-heartedly yet.
Lots of ECs per turn, but they spend them all.
          Demo/FM/Wealth
          Treatied with Lal

Moved colony pods towards sites for what could be our last 3 bases for a while.

We are 2 turns away from starting to cut our landbridge to Yang.

Finished our first combat sea vessel.

Started ramping up production at two major cities.

Founded 2 bases; rushed rec commons there.

Moved former into position to cut land bridge - the cost will be 162 ECs (IIRC).

Started trawling for IoDs with our new ship.

Started production on some probe defenses.

Started on a condensor and a mine.

Killed a Hive unit; after end of turn, one more approached.

Forgot to make and end turn save, but can do it another time if you want (will always remember the moves as they were the most logical and rational ones I could think of).

Rushed 1 Rec comms (in a base where a doctor was).

              Rushed 1 almost-finished crawler

Set 2 finished cities to crawlers, 2 to SPs (they didn't have em).

1 crawler irreversible, but that city needs it.

started lowering sea at 51, 53. Costed 162 ECs

              Attacked Hive rover - retreated.

At the end of turn 5-2-1 infantry approached.

Moved attack foil East, discovered no land to South.

                2165:

Accepted PACT with Angels, but was too lazy to check infiltration except of - Morgan is being attacked by Spartan airforce!

Retreated our army in stack (which was an error, but I was too confused and in a rush to think more).

Switched all finished productions to 2-1-2 / 1-2-2.

Rushed a 2-3-2 proto with our AA.

finished mine & condenser, put crawlers on em

popped 2 pods with formers (was desperate) and got - quake and min bonus. It will superior luck if a Spartan vessel was near our cost where the quake was - I except there is at least one in the seas to E.

                Rushed rectanks.

Started per def on our Nmost base.

Moved our last CP away from it's basesite - too dangerous!

At the end of the turn Zakh called governor elections - voted for Lal (out of Lal/Yang/Sparta) - he's the only one to have any use of it and to deny it to Sparta.

                Foil moved NW.

                  2166:
(and again I failed to remember to make an endturn save.. I looked at the "end turn" button and thought that I forgot something, but was unable to remember what exactly)

TRUCE signed with Hive. Yang told "we're letting other grow stronger while we're fighting."
Apparently he was thinking Spartans as after the turn ended, Hive forces marched on into our land right towards Spartan troops.

25 ECs traded from Hive for Ecol Eng - everyone else has it anyway.

Foil moved in position to pop a pod.

Rushed 1 Rectanks and one 1-3-2 defender.

Next turn we'll have 2 2-1-2 and 1 1-3-2 unit. Plus one 2-3-2 which has been already built (don't look at it's weird stats, I had to use full 50mins of our AA, didn't I?).

Perimeter Defense will be rushed next turn if AOK.

Our sea former moved out, 162 ECs lost (Spartan Cruiser too close).

Accepted SFF from the Morganites. Incidentally, they're running 70% econ, 30% psych, 0% labs now.

                    Started on the war path:

Used supply crawlers to partially construct 6-1-2 rovers in 4 bases. Next turn two will finish, and the turn after the other two will.

Inserted Stockpile Energy everywhere it needed to be.

Rushed our northern Perimeter Defense. Cut the road leading to our obliterated base, because of the risk of a Spartan blitzkrieg.

Moved some formers towards strategic sensor locations.

Started producing some probe teams. The Spartans may not be as careful around us as they were in Morganite territory, and we need to take advantage of every mistake. On the other hand, if they know we have probes, they need to fight much more conservatively, impairing their war effort.

After the end of the turn, Yang moved a single infantry unit into view of our northwestern sensor.

Placed rovers in strategic locations - if the Spartans attack a coastal base, particularly if they have marines, it's probably toast, but the base next to it is a much harder target. Therefore, attack and defense belongs at those defensible bases.

Working on having sensor coverage of our entire periphery

Started towards a borehole on a rocky-energy bonus.

Shifting somewhat back towards building until we get air power. Children's creches are an excellent facility since they help our builder game and turn our morale problem into an advantage.

After the end of the turn, Yang's infantry unit vanished.

Received Environmental Economics from the Angels and the Morganites; received D:AP and SotHB from the Morganites. Switched research to Neural Grafting.

Rushed a Children's Creche at HQ in preparation for building a few needlejets. Since we can't attack the Spartans on their own territory, these planes will serve as a means of punishing any invading forces as well as destroying Hive troops as needed.

Finished Neural Grafting. MMI wasn't an option, so I picked Intellectual Integrity for our next choice (other choices were Doc: Init, Centaury Empathy, Polymorphic Software, and Progenitor Psych). Tech rate is 1/15 years now, which is comparable to the Angels.

Trying to find and capture an IoD with our ship

Sent Neural Grafting to Angels in payment for Environmental Economics, since there were no objections.

Rushed a couple of Children's Creches

We really need more bases. Our population is dead last among the human-controlled factions.

...err, I hope I'm doing this right.

Well, Gaian's, we had some good new this year. We captured our 1st IoD! We complete research on IntInt in 12 yrs now, and boy could we ever use some police. Anyway, I sent the move on to The Angels since I seem to be the only Gaian around right now.

                              Here's the completed turn.

I moved the IoD towards some pods to the northwest near Hive waters. I moved the gunship west to do some exploring. We'll have a 2 plane airforce next turn. We should complete research on IntInt in 9 years as of our next turn. I moved the spore launcher east and we get to pop a pod next turn with that unit. We now have a truce with Sparta. I didn't respond to their AV proposal. Perhaps our diplomatic corps can draft a response.

Well since I haven't heard from anyone I went ahead and played the move. I didn't pop the pod I mentioned last turn because I don't think we've had a fungal pop yet and I didn't want to risk completing the tree farm. I rushed a recycling tank. I didn't send the Angels the 100EC's for IntInt yet. There doesn't seem to be any rush for police as we have nowhere good to post more workers. We have 8 yrs to go on our research so there's no rush. We're in the process of building 3 (or is it 4) CP's so we'll be expanding in a few turns. We're not doing too bad on the power chart. Morgan is researching NG, maybe we should think about trading it to them for one of their techs.
