Infiltrated Yang, unfortunately losing the probe team. Yang has 50 (!) population and about 7 techs we don't have. Yang has contact with everyone but Lal. Check the attached turn for specific information.

Blew up Yang's probe team. At the end of the turn, a synthmetal garrison moved up to our worms. It will be destroyed next turn, of course.

Placed a few supply crawlers; rushed 2 colony pods at 21 ECs each.

Moved two colony pods towards the Uranium Flats. Rushed another colony pod.

Destroyed Hive garrison in the north, suffering 50% damage but gaining a morale level. Moved foil back to shore and loaded a probe team. Our targeted Hive city will build a probe team in 2 turns, but we can probe it next turn for a random tech. After that, we'll have to hope the probe team doesn't remain in the city. Of course, all our units nearby are not vulnerable to mind control.

      More terraforming.

Tried to move northwestern mind worm into fungus, but spotted a Hive garrison. Destroyed it, but we may have to back off with that worm and heal in the forest south of its current position. There's a monolith nearby, but unfortunately using it would leave our worm adjacent to an occupied Hive base.

      Made no diplomatic offers.

Probed Yang. Got Doc: Loyalty. Probe team returned safely to Virgin Soil, but without a morale upgrade.

Founded a base in the Uranium Flats, Song of Planet. No b-drones yet.

        Healed northwestern mind worm

Moved a northern mind worm to fungus to heal; moved the healthy one onto the isthmus to Yang. Advanced a nearby spore launcher and probe team as well. If the Spartans are an imminent threat, perhaps most of these units should be recalled.

        Finished our first condensor.

Morgan completed the PTS since our last turn and shot from 12 population to 34.

Yang's vulnerable city must have aborted its probe team build, as no probe team is visible in the city's supply list (or base defense), and it's improbable that someone else would have destroyed it. Yang has a ludicrous number of synthmetal sentinels, to the point that he's choking on the support.

Found a Spartan scout foil to our northwest, which has undoubtedly discovered the fringe of our territory.

Founded our 8th base, Skeletal Woods. 1 b-drone total, compensated for with a doctor. Next turn, we research Social Psych and can start to compensate for bureaucracy with rec commons.

Researched Social Psych. Started on EcoEng.

Found spots for all of our colony pods. 2 more bases next turn, and 2 more the turn after that, bringing us to twice our bureaucracy limit. As a result, most bases are already producing Rec Commons - they'll need them.

Advanced probe team to near Yang's city. We can probe again next turn, though our odds of success are impaired.

Pulled back our northwest mind worm in preparation for extraction - it's vulnerable, and isn't doing anything anymore. Pulled back our spore launcher to make better use of it on defense, or exploring a few nooks in our territory.

Total 10 bases now, and only 4 b-drones. That's pretty lucky, considering the expected number is more like 8. We should have one in every base after next turn, however, as we rise to double our bureaucracy limit.

Rushed two rec commons to cope with new drones, will have to rush some and make some doctors next turn.

Probe team failed to penetrate Yang's security interlocks.

Founded 2 cities, causing additional b-drones. Coping with them through a combination of rec commons, police, and doctors. Some temporary hunger is occurring to accelerate construction of rec commons.

Popped a pod next to a new base - found an energy bonus (on a rocky tile, so not very useful).

Moved a probe team and a mind worm towards our landbridge.

Picked up our northwestern mind worm with our unity foil.

Spotted a Spartan scout foil southeast of the Uranium Flats.

Implementing binTravkin's defensive plan in the north.

Rushed a rec commons to free up a doctor.

Received Doc: Flex from the Angels. Starting producing a sea former.

Rushed a couple of Rec Commons - no more doctors!

Finished moving all 3 mind worms to our land bridge to Hive. Spotted a lone 4-2-1 two tiles from our worms (presumably approaching). This could be the leading edge of an invasion, or just a lone unit doing something useless.

Rushed a rec commons to head off a drone.
                      Continued terraforming.
                      Killed adjacent Hive unit.
At end of turn, watched half a dozen or so Hive units approach.

Killed adjacent Hive unit, taking 40% damage. After end of turn, some more moved in. Moved spore launcher towards chokepoint to counter threat of Yang's artillery

Saved ECs - no rushing this turn.

Finished a rec commons in one nutrient-rich base; started a rec tanks there. A crawler or cpod would also be reasonable options.

Note that the turn posted here is a reconstruction of the actual turn we sent, since I forgot to save it the first time in my sleep-deprived haze. The only difference is the worm we attacked with suffered 40% damage in the real turn, and 30% in the turn posted here.

Rushed a rec commons for 10 ECs to head off a doctor/riot.

                          208/398 tech points, 31/turn. This yields 7 turns for Ecological Engineering, but population growth will push this down to 6 turns, since 31 * 6 = 186, whereas 398 - 208 = 190.

Attacked Yang's rover artillery with a worm. It retreated after each had taken 50% damage. A horde is visible 2 tiles out. Hopefully, they'll all move in next turn, and be crippled.

Held mind worms idle for healing, since Yang stood his ground.

                            Shuffled some workers and crawlers.

Started work on our first borehole.

Spotted Spartan scout foil southeast of the Uranium Flats.

Note the attached turn may not be our final end-turn save.

Edit: no changes were requested and the attached turn was ended and submitted to the Angels.

                              2156

Renamed Gaia's Landing to Deirdre's Memory

Moved SL to 54,56 (fungus square)

Moved free former to help with borehole (8 turns to go)

Started producing former in Blessed Autumn (it has 1 free support slot)

Started planting forest at 67, 75 (river, UF), so after 3 turns Dance Of The Fireflies will have 2 more minerals (forest + rectanks)

Moved those 2 northern forests to N and started making road there (for faster transfer of our newly built CP), it can be however canelled next turn.

I will NOT post the turn yet, so anyone can do it after all is decided..

Spartan transport foil at our land bridge.

After the end of the turn, Yang moved several units closer to us, putting one next to our mind worms. It will be devoured next turn. He has also resumed work on a Gatling foil, at a city adjacent to an enemy probe foil.
