We should think about that. I support it .

      Grand Hive Report: part one

As you probably already know, probe team infiltrated Hive networks near the end of last year (MY 2143) providing us with great deal of information. Sadly, they paid with their lives but their sacrifice shall not be forgotten.
      Let's concentrate on military:
Hive has a Laser Foil, 7 Laser Infantry divisions and three recon rover divisions, which is less than we expected. It also doesn't seem that Yang prototyped Impact Weapons yet:

Tech report: Hive produces 47 lab points per turn (30 more than us ). And will complete Optical Computers in MY 2146.
He has Nonlinear Mathematics, Doctrine: Loyalty, Social Psych, Polymorphic Software, Doctrine: Flexibility and Progenitor Psych (and all our techs). There is one 1/3 chance that we can probe a useful tech in couple of turns - if we could get Social Psych it would be great, as would be Flexibility.

          Diplo report:

          Morgans- noncommital-informal truce
          Angels-obstinate-informal truce
          Spartans-obstinate-treaty
          Zak-truce

Has 15 bases (two of level 5 population). Overall looking majority of Hive bases is producing Rec Commons, some of them Recycling Tanks Energy Banks and NNs, two of them are building CN (the Hive will finish it in ten turns, other base in 15). Interesting fact is that Yang has two bases without garrisons- one of them, Labor Network, looks like it is near landbridge with Angels, thus close to our MW!

            Whoa! Two words,

            probe teams

            now.

The bases without garrison are not perhaps as easy meal as they seem, they could be located near bases with major troop concentrations or they could be sort of "honey pots" used to invite us to a war the AI calculates it can win.

Thus, what I think we need are probe teams to gain their technologies and lots of CPs as well as defensive troops near the in our cities neighbouring the Hive terrotories.
