Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
2191 is in. Spartans won 6 battles. They were bombing raids, I guess.
We have like:
2 B6
2 B4
2 F6
1 F8
all Spartan.
I think our F-6 must be upgraded to F-8 in order to compete. I would gather energy and upgrade them before fight.
Chaos infantry prototype costs 27(regular) 45 minerals - prototype. Maybe FH could do it using a crawler on nearby tile? The rest might be hurried.
Herc, activate the Drop probe on the Spartan coast, you'll see a transport foil and a escort cruiser there. They can be taken down with our empath chopper in Kodycryptor..
Also, How about trying to block the retreat-path of those Spartan bombers/fighters? Under the assumption they have committed there whole airfleet in the area they can't attack in the back. I'll try to come up with a plan to airdrop some dropscouts -and deploy the 3 fighters/bombers closest to the former Hercules Station coast. It would at least cost them that F8 fighter of them...

Geo, Without infiltration we do not know, if they can have more F-8 in Defiance base, that would easily take out our F-6. I would upgrade them first. They are too expensive to loose them that fast.
Yes, it's possible! If we upgrade our last scout patrol to a drop unit (preferably AAA drop garrison as well), and our plasma garrison to an AAA drop garrison, we have sufficient troops to block their retreat! It will at least cost them 2-3 planes to cut a hole and even if successfull those are lost to them anyway. And there's no chance the F8 will go back.
I think this is better then direct attack them for with their higher morale the Spartan fighters will likely survive our fighter attacks.
So I propose to use our 2 fighters, the scout rover and 6 drop scouts/AAA garrisons in a line on the coast between 14.54-16.50 and two units on 18.52 and 19.51.
Give me some time to write out a drop plan, for we need to use our air units as well to counter the ZoC the Spartan planes perform.

Darn Mart, this is no time to huddle and wait for the final blow. If it fails, we lost 1-2 units so the Spartans will have a retreat path, but if it works half the Spartan airfleet we see is down without a fight!
Even better, it will make them think twice before doing long-range strikes again if they continue to spot a high number of cheap drop units in our base squares.

Well, after some deliberation I cut the whole thing down to dropping 3 units on tile 18.52...
All other options, if the Spartans are able to play it smart, are a bit iffy and leave our dropped units in the open for an attack the turn after.
But with 3 cheap units dropped on 18.52 (or perhaps a drop plasma AAA unit among them) the Spartans will for sure lose their commando chaos interceptor. And the turn after our surviving units can move within aircover of Delirium Camp.
I also suggest to attack the Spartan flotilla near our Drop Probe on the Spartan landmass with the particle empath chopper and to frame the Spartans for a probe action in Society Grid (but you need to cancel the automove of the probe foil first for that).
