Some Ideas for the future that will be shot down immediatly.

SF When F6 is ready move to RPG

FH After Crawler make Colony Pod so we can up income and manufacturing.

Social Engineering Planet to Green costing 40 ecs but Eff and Planet up. Good for selves and G. relations. Also put slider to 40-10-50.

    EM drone to Doctor

HG Hurry F6. Make drop probe to insight riots in Yang Mine. If can not fall to speededr right away then use F6 to help.

This could open us up to S invasion but would only go in baby steps of taking Yang so can also focus on any S stuff.

Also while we attack G attacks Seat of Proper Thought with their mighty military (cough, cough).

On S invasion by taking some of Yangs attention it would make it easier for S to attack Yang and take his territory.

Aircraft based in RPG sounds good. It's a good startpoint for scouting that area as well.

For the Social Engineering: I tinkered with the option during last turn to see how it would go. 40/10/50 sliders were my first thought as well, but I went along with the 40/20/40 for 3 bases could grow then and it gave us leeway for drones when new bases are founded. This situation will probably change from turn to turn for if my idea for Snowflake Haven is accepted (a rec commons there as well) the drone situation might change yet again. O yes, don't worry for not running Green will upset our Gaian allies, they're planned themself and they're human players, so...

I need to see the result of next turns' pop growing to see if a doctor is necessary in EM. For if my presumptions went right the base will have hit his growth limit with current nut output. Of course, a drone could popup again like happened last turn, so no telling at this stage.

I'm afraid I don't understand your reference to the Spartans. Do you mean that our home defense should be strong enough to take a sneak assault by the Spartans, and that as a consequence we won't be able to commit sufficient troops for a quick(er) takeover of Hive bases, even together with the Gaians?

So, not too many were shot down right away, right?

We should have a minimal defence to give the S a black eye if they try.

This defence can be suplemented by getting the S attention to attacking Yang while he is weakened during our attack.

        Playing a gamble.

I suspect they will join the fray (against the Hive) quickly enough once they see war has started.

just alot of questions for the ending of turn 2184

is there some reason that 12th worker in EM is gathering 1 nut while if he was a thinker\tech he could be doing something? i dont have the patch on though, does that effect the # of drones?

i havnt played mp much, but it looks like we should be the last one to be attacked,as we are the hardets to physical access...on the other hand they must have some military in the pk\uni area or they couldnt have taken it. the gaians rate a 0 on my threat-o-meter and the M's cant attack cause the S on their side.i guess they could rush cruisers there and stuff, but is a full blown assault really that likely? morgans look like a much more important target if i was S. im not dissing our critical force build up,just guessing we have 10-20 turns

havnt read this whole thread, but we need infil on S asap, some sort of drop unit+air attack for diversion to get our guy in(they already know we are coming since our 'tourists' failed ^^ ). might as well come bashing through the front door since stealth failed?

The 12th worker is used to let the base popboom one more citizen which will be turned into a specialist.
For the S, we're getting there number one possible threat.
And while I was on holiday, a plan of mine to dropprobe+infiltrate them backfired. Don't know why exactly, since I couldn't find info on where exactly they were dropped, but we lost both of them when the Spartans destroyed them.

The drop probes couldn't land in the fungus near UN Aid because of the Zone unit control rule, so we dropped them in a forest outside their field of vision (we thought). But a patrol, or a returning aircraft, spotted them and because ( they claim the doubling up prevented them being interregated and returned, the S killed them.

What? Since when don't probes ignore the zone of control rule?
Or was this perhaps because they were dropped?

In any case, if I knew this was going to happen I would have vetoed in the end. Too risky in the open.

Yes, it was because they were dropped.

my bad i forgot to see the SE before i posted

you mean they hold us as biggest threat or we hold them to be?

well since it already backfired,i was asking if dropping aaa and probes and covering them with needles would be feasable(kinda lame but i dont know if its prohibited)

of course this would earn a full war from S.

rehoming the crawler from mart pact and using it to get 2 nuts allows EM to have 2 food and 2 specalests. this has my EM running at 18\14\14(1 technician) and 1 thinker) with 3 talents\no drone or 21\14\10(2 technicians) with 2 talents\1 drone

think 1 f6 next turn would be better than a seaform in 6 turns i dont even pay attention to this in sp,but dosnt a base revolt if # drones = #talents?that means the base is totaly shut down next turn.

unless i have no idea what im doing,it seems we are losing a turn in EM?

assuming the base is revolting when turn comes around we lost at least 3 EC and the stockpile EC and the f6(because of the revolt it and the stockpile couldnt be made)

One talent quells one drone. So as long as the number is equal to the number of drones there shouldn't be a problem.

So next turn I expect to see 3 talents and 3 drones in the base and the base having zero growthrate.

Seems I forgot to spot a SH crawler harvesting mins on a forest tile while it could as well have harvested 2 nuts on a rainy tile and let the base work the forest tile. Of course we would have had to switch the specialist to a thinker then...
Point is moot anyway if next turn a rec commons is instabuilt.

We could always do good plans prior to the turn. We have thus more time for fine tuning.
In this case end turns are obligatory
