So Spartans have acquired 2-3 techs in the last few turns then. That Disco Volante we spotted last turn must have succeeded in acquiring a tech, probably Superstring Theory.

I'm starting to think that all Hive bases on the HG side will be encrypted. Perhaps we should move our probe foils to the south coast of the Hive.


Mart, ask the Gaians this: how about they give us the Bio-engineering tech in return for this AAA-drop plasma garrison? They have 2 abilities and a strong defensive unit, and don't need to upgrade or rushbuild a clean drop former for us. We can make our own clean formers then at once as well.

Just some proposal:
- We can mention to them that we noticed Spartans already posses AMA, so we could trade this tech to them.
- Or simply tell them, that we could offer the following techs to them at the moment and ask, if they have something in exchange. Do not reveal what, since by this we would show we have infiltration

You checked, that Spartans have Bio-engineering already? how? Should we first ask Gaians, if they can check this?
After all this whole stuff goes in order to prevent Spartans from getting clean ability.

Some misunderstanding here. AFAIK we can't see if Spartans have Bio-engineering or not. I just posted this without thinking if we would be the third party receiving this tech or not.

Edit: darn, I forgot, the Morgans already have that tech.
But looking at their tech direction now I predict the Morgans will try for Retroviral and Biomachinery now to get the Cloning Vats.

I think, with the Morgans current research path, they will try to aim for Retroviral->Biomachinery (Cloning Vats)

Building proposals:
GeoMatrix: Childrens' Creche, but first crawler if the rehoming proposal (see below) goes through
Fungal Heights: Rec Commons or Network Node
Mart Pact: Rec Tanks

I suggest those two formers on 19.49 first to build a farm on their current tile instead of moving north. Plenty of time before a cp is started in Hercules Station, and Heavens Gate can popboom a bit in the meantime.
Keep those F6's at home for our defense or even patrol the sea between us and the Spartans. I want to know if they're around or not.

you mean the crawler on 32.74? .the crawler in geomatrix can be rushed for 12 EC.

make a rec common in fungal heights imo. does anybody else see the basescreen as showing 1happy\1drone but the psych sreen says 2happy? in another pbem i picked up from sebed,i compensated for massive drones based on that info. im wondering if i just way overshot

It's not to steal things, just to check if the base already was visited by someone elses' probes.

That's a bug in SMAX. The F4 screen is the correct situation.

I am still not sure Spartans have infiltration on us. I simply can't recall when we didn't have probe defence apart from the very start.

They are making it sound that they have, with hints. But if like us they want to keep faction infiltration secret, then why broadcast even to just us, this type of information.

it is true that we seem to have probe defences secure. and if they have probed us before,it must have been after CF....so perhaps they havnt. unless they let us grab that

but what base hasnt had cop's for quite a while? im thinking your right.if they DID had infil,they wouldnt tell us. and if they didnt,they would tell us...unless they do but tell us so we think they dont
