Perhaps this thread could use a bump?

Would it be totally shameless promoting to show a Spartan recruitment poster in this thread?

Civ IV is digital crack. If you are a college student in the middle of the semester, don't touch it with a 10-foot pole. I'm serious.

Wow, the Spartans need help already, and we're merely 17-18 years in the game...

I think you'll see in our next paper that we are taking care of any worms quite handily.. But there's never any harm in a little propaganda for those citizens who start to become complacent with the worm menace. We've got to keep our troops disciplined and focused.

Be thankful. If we weren't there to hold them back, half the planet would be buried under the mass their bodies, and you lot would have been a light snack.

As it is, of course, half the planet is still covered under the mass of the bodies, but these bodies are dead ones.

I fancy he would be enticed by ways that he could prove that he is WAAAAY cooler than UnOrthOdOx.

                            Hehehe, very clever, Illuminatus.

Although I don't know if I'd feel comfortable allying with that hideous...thing. That means I'd have to sleep in the same barracks with it, and let me assure you: that's not gonna happen!. If the Gaians are okay with that sort of thing, then, to each his own, I guess. If you like waking up in the middle of the night to find a ravenous, saliva-slathered orgy of tentacles in bed beside you, then, join the Gaians!

No, really, I'm sure you probably keep them in separate sleeping quarters (I hope! ). Anyway, good luck with integrating those...interesting specimens into your military.

Ah, this is going to be one fun ACDG.

If Japanese schoolgirls will be involved, I'm afraid I'll have to leave Sparta.

Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!
