I'd really like to hear from Archaic about this, since only he has the right to start official polls about this issue and ordering a SE change.
But the current poll shows a clear victory for Knowledge, and i am supposed to serve my faction the best i can, so unless Archaic has any objections against switching to Knowledge, i will switch during the turnchat.

May only be started by a government official. Must have official in the subjectline, and must be used as information gathering or decision making.

DEI Orders
1) The Western Probe Foil should continue to move Northwards until it finds another faction, and then infiltrate.
2) The Western Gatling Foil should continue West following the coast of the other continent.
3) The Scout Patrol should continue exploring the unexplored area to the West and South.
4) The Eastern Probe Foil should steal tech from Yang at The Leader's Horde, and if still alive afterwards, should immediately make its way back to steal another tech.
5) The Eastern Gatling Foil should return to TBIBTU immediately and rest until fully repaired, and should then continue exploring North along the coast.
6) The New Transport Foil being built by Voltaire in New Suez should stay put until Probe reaches it, and then head off to the University.
7) The New Probe Team being built by GT in TBIBTU should move to New Suez ASAP and board the transport.

All trance non-probe ships under my control should pop every pod they find, regardless of moves left, unless damaged. This is because since there is no advantage for attacking in the sea, and with +50% defense, it's better than attacking IoDs. And they move away when they are damaged a bit.

It would make sense that the director can only start offcial polls in his area, otherwise any director could do the DoSE job.
The cconstitution also says:

Director of Social Engineering:
Has the right of:
*Starting polls to ask the people what there wishes are in his area
*Ordering the commissioner to change the social engineering’s page
*Advising any other part of the government

If anyone could start polls in the DoSE's area, then why mention it as a specific right under the DoSE?
IMO Only the DoSE has the right to start official polls in his area.

Yes, a long time ago, when we didn't even have Knowledge. Opinions could've changed by then, and since i didn't receive an order to switch from the current director, i think i did the right thing.

That is true, and the DSE has to order it, but nowhere does it say that another Governor can't start an official poll for that area. This came up before about whether if a DFA didn't want to go to war, they simply don't post the poll asking if we should. If only the DSE can post polls on changing SE settings, then if they want to keep it how it is, they don't do anything, and nothing changes. I'm saying should we make it like that?

Not true, every director has the duty to post polls about his area to find out the people's wishes, if he's not doing that, then obviously the director is not fullfilling his duty. From that, impeachment can follow, the AT or a new director will take the position, and a poll will be posted eventually.

Due to pressure of the Hawks, the military & expansionist faction in our federal senate, I have been forced to annul the construction of a research hospital which would ensure payable medical care for all. Instead I've added "Gatling Infantry - Police Infantry (garrison for the new base) - Colony Pod". By dedicating Concordian State Industries to fulfill the requests of the federal government, I hope I can continue my social plans in the other bases, by building rec commons to raise morale, and children's creches and network nodes to ensure high quality education.

Indeed. And because the current (and previous ? Im not sure Adam was still DoSE when we researched Knowledge) Director(s) of Social Engineering didnt give the order to switch to Knowledge, despite the clear results of the poll, we can honestly say that he has to be impeached. Moreover, even with the situation pointed and aknowledge, he should have at least started a new poll in the next days. Therefore, impeachment can follow.
