with SMAX, you have the choice of SMAX or SMAC. so when you play SMAC, the unity wreckage isn't there. if the turn was a SMAX file, people with SMAC couldn't play it (the game crashes or something)

I should've said patch 4 installed in retrospect, since I know they added the certain landmarks at that time. But oh well, if it's not there, it's not there.
The Borehole and The Manifold Nexus should be on the map if DE has SMAC 4.0. I don't think though if there are a bunch of monoliths put around them. That might be an addition of the SMAX map.
the manifold nexus isnt placed on the map i think that purely smax right?

as far as i know, its on the eastern part of the middle continent in SMAC too (though i don't recall the borehole cluster in SMAC. it's on the big continent west of upland wastes.)
i know the cluster is there but the manifold I am not sure of

I disagree. We need to plan in advance, so that correct decisions can be made on hurrying. And we should definately be hurrying quite a bit, especially if we can get on Free Market.
You have been telling yourself we won't be hurrying anything in the first few years. For the first few builds I would personally post a seperate poll. Only when we have a few bases, fixed build queues should become common practice.
However, I see MrWhereItsAt has already chosen his build queue without even posting an official poll. So much for the democracy game.
well maniac is right about the posting of polls but the most people will agree on it I THINK.
when are the next couple of turns played anyways?

Well I have seen no disagreements since I posted the proposed queue. Time is running out, and with a poll, it would be
1. Accept this queue or
2. Propose a new one.
Since no-one has done the latter, it is as if the former was accepted. I fully intend to poll, but only if there is more than one option proposed. Things are quite simple now anyway - once we know our environs (beyond immediate environs), it can be better discussed. As it is this is generic, what any old base should do, really.
