You guys are simply impossible. Why don't I suggest that a team mod should be nominated by somebody and then be elected by everybody in the team by polls? (Yeay more polls.) Is that an entirely revolutionary idea at all?

For the Spartans? Who ever heard of the low-ranking soldiers being allowed to make decisions in these so-called polls.

I used a big word "revolutionary" you know, implying that it isn't so really.

But alas, English is not my mother tongue either, so I may have not expressed myself very well. My apologies.

Because CyCon and PUT didn't use any fora besides Apolyton and thus we joined each other's forum here, the Hive was immediately aware of our unification.

Though it *kind of* worked both ways, too

. Hive and Drones could keep it a secret though by moving to another forum, which of course gave them a huge advantage in diplomacy.
And I support it. Any faction should be able to conduct its internal affairs on another forum, and really: Who can stop them? Are we to pass a rule that you can't talk about the ACDG on any forum but Apolyton?

I guess I was wrongly under the impression that this was an Apolyton ACDG. Either every faction's main base is on Apolyton, or either we state right from the start that we can place our main bases of discussions everywhere (Why is this forum still needed then?). But one faction's forum being here (and thus its members visible for everybody else) and a second faction's forum somewhere else secret gives the second faction a diplomatic advantage that isn't a consequence of using smart in-game-related diplo tactics, but rather of abusing meta-game information.

I do think in the early stage when two factions made contact, Googlie has been providing a private forum for the two teams, which is not at Poly. As far as I remember the Hive CC embassy is not at Poly, and we have utilized it quite frequently for a period, without the CCs opposing it.

While we've had off-site embassies, our domestic *main base* of discussion remained at Apolyton. The embassy's purpose was discussion interfactional affairs, not intrafactional affairs and plans. It was clear who was CyCon, PUT or PEACE.
