That's what I heard too so the old OCC is likely going to be dead.

Nah... they have also stated that it is possible to hold off large numbers of units with the right terrain and rotating in healthy new units (think Thermopoly (spelling?) vs the Persians). So, I think a OCC (my favorite kind of Civ) is going to be even better than before so long as you play the land right.
