  • Will you buy CivRev?

Based on the info we have, do you plan on buying this game, and if so for what platform(s)?

Myself, I would definitely buy it if it came out on the PC. I don't own any consoles and I'm not gonna spend in excess of €200 just to be able to play this game (even if I had the money). But I'd love to at least find out what all the talk is about, it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't even know anyone who owns a next-gen console so I doubt I'll be playing this anytime soon

Surely a co-owner could finagle a system somewhere?

I'll be getting it for the DS & Wii. In fact, I'm going to buy a second DSLite so my son and I can play MP - which also means another copy of CivRev for the DS.

I bought a used version of AoE: Age of Knights to get a feel of the DS, since my son plays it. But, my son has been consumed w/ it and has played it nonstop. The little brat!

Alas, the salary for co-owner of a non-commercial site is not what it's made out to be

If I did have a console - then yes I would buy it for that.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

My eight-year-old already plays Civ4, but he's not very good at it. Keeps getting his butt handed to him in the middle ages. I've tried to give him some pointers, but he gets too hasty and goes on offense with too few units. Kids nowadays!

The nine-year-old shows no interest. He'd rather be *outside* playing baseball! Sheesh!

Maybe for DS. I'm gonna read a few reviews and see what people "in the know" think of it, then I'll see.

Well I am late to the party, but I will buy the DS version and might go for the xbox360 version also. I need a fast paced civ because I haven't time too play civ any more :-(

Definitely for PC, maybe for 360.

                            I can't get around the idea of a non-fps, non-sport, non-driving game on console.
