SCENARIO: Modern World (In Progress! Nitpickers needed!)

I reduced the Russian number of cities to 46. Population will be taken into acccount.
I plan to give any city with less than 50,000 people no bonuses. (There are very few of these.)
One with 50,000 to 100,000 will get a bonus of 5 food. One with 100,000 to 500,000 will get a bonus of 10 food.
One with 500,000 to 1 million will get 15 bonus food.
Cities with over 1 million will get 20
Over 2 will get 30
Over 3 will get 35
Over 5 will get 40
Over 7 will get 45
Over 10 will get 50
Over 13 will get 55
Over 16 will get 60
Over 20 will get 65

The production bonuses will just be what I think is reasonable.


City placement is 80% done. Canada, China, Argentina and Brazil remain.

I'm beginning to fill in populations for each city. (I haven't yet finished placing all cities, but I want to start on something new for a little.) I'm still not sure whether the system I outlined above will be used, or whether I'll just use the civ3 system. (So the population in the city screen is correct.) I think I might want to use the civ3 system instead.

Anyway, I rename, for example, "Moscow" to "Moscow (13m)" to keep track of its RL population. I've done maybe 80 so far.

a lot of people have done that to Marla's map , they made Hawaii bigger , the med , etc , ....

Israel is very small. Small but powerful.

Even if India has fewer cities, a bigger population could help. Also did you partition kashmir between India and Pakistan, that would be a great way to stimulate a war, so try adding a Srinagar, in the north if you haven't.

1.- USA with Israel and some minor islands
2.- UK with Australia and South Africa
3.- Canada
4.- Mexico with Colombia and Venezuela
5.- Brazil with Ecuador
6.- Argentina with Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay
7.- Northern Sahara countries
8.- Middle African countries, Zaire, Senegal, Nigeria, down to Namibia
9.- Middle east countries like Iraq, Syria, Arabia etc.
10.- Tailand and southeast Asia
11.- China with North Korea and Mongolia and Taiwan
12.- India with part of Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and part of China, the region of Tibet
13.- the European Union
14.- the eastern European countries, like turkey, hungary, ukraine, etc.
15.- Russia with Cuba
16.- the "stan" countries, like afghanistan, pakistan, kazhakstan, tadjikistan, up to middle russia, but not all, novosibirsk still remaining russian.

since this a scen , why not make jungle cutting a 100 turns , so that the AI does not change your hard work
