Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
In my Latin Mod, I was tinkering with a Vatican City Wonder, but I didn't have the artistic skills to pull it off. But if anyone wants to take a look, here it is:
Name: Vatican City
Cost: 85 Shields
Requirements: 12 Cathedrals and Monotheism
Happy in City: 2
Gain in every City: Cathedral
Improvements: Resist to Propaganda and Reduces Corruption
Can trigger a golden age for Religious civs (not surprising).
So after making 12 cathedrals, you can build this great wonder, and if you can pull it off (85 is a lot for this time period IMHO), you'll be able to get a cathderal in each city.
What does everyone think?

It would be interesting to test if the Sistine Chapel also doubles the effect of cathedrals that weren't actually built, but provided for free by another wonder.
"As far as general advice on mod-making: Go slow as far as adding new things to the game until you have the basic game all smoothed out ... Make sure the things you change are really imbalances and not just something that doesn't fit with your particular style of play." - WesW

It does, I made a wonder called State Church once that gave you a cathedral in every city.
well this idea came up out of no where as I was going through one of the threads here... thanks to ADG for pointing me over here...
I was thinking about a small wonder that let you hold sporting events say every 4-8 years and you got a certain number of gold coins each times the games are held based on the number of civs you are at peace with...
suggestions?

Hmmm...I believe it should automaticly hold those events (Don't think people wants to be bothered each 4 years to hold a tournament
Maybe it shouldn't just be based on the number of Civs you're at peace with, but also on the number of Civs who has built this minor wonder. The more Civs who you're at peace with and has built it, the more gold you get when holding it...But also, the more Civs that has this wonder (no matter if you're at peace or not), the longer time it takes for it to be "you-turn" to hold it. This means, that it goes on shift, to hold these games. If everybody is at war with a Civ, with this wonder, then the other Civs just skip him...

Cool, an Olympic wonder... I like it.
Since Civ3's lucky number seems to be 20, how about this wonder trigger every 20 turns?

I was going to start a thread on Wonder ideas, but you guys beat me to it.
Here are some of my ideas:
Magellan's Voyage: keep its original bonus, but add that it gives a Harbor in all of your cities
Copernicu's Observatory: keep its original bonus, but add that it gives a Library in all of your cities
SETI: keep its original bonus, but add that it gives a University in all cities on only that continent which SETI is built
Cure for Cancer: keep its original bonus, but add that it gives a Hospital in all cities on only that continent which Cure for Cancer is built
And I am adding a new Great Wonder and test it to see how this affects game play for the single player:
Magna Charter: requires the Republic advance, and gives a Courthouse in all of your cities; never becomes obsolete, and gives 4 culture points for the city in which it is built; can trigger Golden Age for commercial or expansionist civilization that builds it; shield cost to build is 60
Unfortunately, I do not have a graphic for this new wonder, and I have never tried making new graphics for my ideas yet.
But I have a question; the bonus that I added to the original Great Wonders -- will this make them too powerful and create a severe imbalance in the game??
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
With the SETI and Copernicu's Observatory Wonders your changes sound unbalancing. Megellan's Voyage also sounds like it might mess things up. If you do this I recomend you up the cost or make new wonders to give the libraries, harbors, and universities. The Magna Carta is a fine idea but I would make it 2-3 culture points and up the cost to build it.
I agree that wonders that give a building in each city can get too powerful.

In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.
