the only critism i can think of is that ampitheaters, operas, and musuems are too isolated to western culture, but that is a general problem of civ3 that somebody else can fix!

The English UU is weak and needs to be changed. Possibly a specialized infantry unit that could move 3 instead of 2...a Red Coat? This unit would be able to retreat against older (i.e. Cavalry) unit that could move 2 and also stop modern day (i.e. tanks) from being able to retreat. In my opinion, this would be a very nice unit.
