    I look forward to trying out your mod. One quibble though: I really, really think you should call Fundamentalism Theocracy instead. Especially since you also have the Fascist government - it is very easy to confuse Fundamentalism and Fascism, since they are so similar and Civ2's history with that. Theocracy as a name ties in especially well with the early start, and Monotheism prereq.

      Des mean Despotism
      C means communism
      D mean Democracy
      Fa means Fascism
      Fu means Fundamentalism

      Propaganda is a Operation your spys can do totry and convert your enemys cities. the rate of succes is affected by your governmet/ there gov, and your culture rating.
      the stats i listed gives you the chance the listed government will be succesfull over the opposing gov. higher is better.

      What is meant by "resistance Fu:-15 fa:-10"?

      What is a rate cap?

      Rate cap is pretty important, it is the max rate you can set Luxurys or resources..

      I also have an unrelated point. Every game I've played, the Germans have been amazingly aggressive. Do you think there is any merit in *either* switching Germany's preferred govt to Fascism *or* toning down their aggression? It seems to me that a Democratic but massively aggressive civilization is a bit unrealistic.

      I meant to do this, but didnt..


      Im already thinking of Democratic Socialism, Constitutional Monarchy, and renaming 'fundamentalism' to 'theocracy' cus umm its the same thing except 'theocracy' sounds better i guess..

          Thanks for the informative reply. I'm still looking forward to version 1.8.

          Can you tell us whether using your mod pack will cause that annoying glitch whereby we can no longer use the science tech tree? Other mods have resulted in this game-design problem appearing.

            It looks like that file is still 1.25. I couldn't find any of the new stuff in the mod. And is 1.8 still scheduled for release today?

                No it is V1.8 i downloaded it to check

                it is just named the same thing..

                ok

                the wonder changes are

                The Pyramids
                now is religious only, and doubles the affectiveness of temples, now cost's 35 sheilds

                i only changed this because the other changes i want to make still havent been worked out

                i havent noticed anyglitches

                and i didnt add new techs so i dont think it would make that glitch.

                      Just downoaded it again and I'm still seeing 1.35. Still has Fundmentalism and none of the 1.5 changes.

                          Totally new directory. In fact, I just deleted the all instances of it to make sure. And I'm sure, could you send the file to sianews@neo.rr.com ?
