Yes, that's pricisely the problem. Another chariot is a bad idea, and yet, when the Hittites are around, what else can one do? They never had a cavalry, their infantry was mediocre, siege weapons were rare, archers were rarely used except in chariots. What else is there?

I suspect Firaxis might yank a unit out that has little to do with history...

I suspect that you may be right, and that would be highly unfortunate. There is only so much you can do with the chariot. Maybe a super-chariot that costs a little more?

Horseman without resource
More powerful Catapult
I have a hunch that the Incas will have a 3 move (Mountain as grassland) Scout as their UU

New XP anounced - I`m surprised Sid Mire dare show his face, after the PTW debacle.

(No - I still cannot get it to work on my Lan at anything above a snail pace... (and yes fanboys I am using 1200 + computers etc) - let alone play someone over the Internet at an acceptable speed.

Yes I know there are people out there who tweak this and that and manage to get it to work but guess what? I bought Rise of Nations and it works multiplayer straight out of the box 10 mins after loading. Miracle - no, just a half decent product.

So Sid, take your crappy product and shove it up your ass (American expression). That is the last penny you will take away from me. Same for Inforgames - con-merchants. And what about all those people who said that Firaxis would support this product - why no European patch? Very poor.

I feel better for saying that and I know that a lot of you out there feel the same.

Firaxis is still patching PTW. The problem was the fact that Infogrames said that they'd handle all the non-USA versions of the patch. Will the next patch be for the entire world? I hope so. Atari has said so.

At the end of the day I am still the poor fool who parted with his money and am still awaiting what is a relatively simple thing, the actual patch is done, the recoding for the European versions needs completion.

Come the revolution they will adorn the nearest lamp-post in our street.
