Well I gave Hydey until last weekend, and then something came up. This weekend is a certainty though.

Ok this weekend was my gf's birthday (and anyone pointing out I temporarily forgot that when making my last post will be very sorry )...........so I must report failing to play my turns. Since I have a wedding to go to next weekend if Straybow wants to cut in it seems wise. Then I'll take some turns after him.

I was dragged, kicking and screaming, to a fancy restaurant and assaulted by a very large roast of veal. The horror of it! Then Sat I was forced at gunpoint to play laser tag with some friends (well, it wasn't really at gunpoint). So much for Civ time.

1838 China Ferry Barracks; Tommorowland Aquaduct. Dang, Genoa's remnant Engr disappeared—it must've been assigned to Turin instead of Lilo or Teotihuacan. Kip Silk to MK 654 (+4). ThndrMt CL takes out Roman CL, DD, +Vet. Bribe Roman DD at Zenon for 672, new DD kills Roman Cannon +1 more.
DD sinks Chinese Txprt. Invasion force lands, Senate signs a cease fire. Spies investigate Shanghai, Chengdu, Canton and Hangchow; buy an Engr for 248 (it was in the way). Armor units positioned in forts.
Romans land near TofD

1840 Lab Rats make Computers, start thinking about bigger planes. ChMt, Dumbo, Teoti Temples; The Inst Aquaduct. 'Clad sinks Roman Frigate near ThMt. Alpines destroy Cannon+1 by TofD, PPan Riflemen sally forth and kill Cannon. Position Freight for trip to China.
Greek DD kills Musketeers in Columbia; Gk Cannon dies assaulting Riflemen in fort near Tintin.

1842 Spies investigate China. Exploring spy avoids a hut. PPan Riflemen die, TofD Alpines finish off Roman Rifles. Spy sabotages Roman ship, captured. Cavalry destroy Gk Cannon near Tintin. Sell MK Sewers (grew to 35 back in '38).
Silk mined near Anaheim
1844 Lab Rats build bigger planes, think about rockets. Chinese expel a Spy, get fussy about occupation around Canton; Rom Engr moves to north of TofD. Txprt w/Freights spots Chin DD. Spy sabotages Aztec DD near Fantasia.

Spy tips hut, gets barbs, bribes one and both board the ship. Ship spots Gk CL and flees northward (spots Gk Txprt). Goofy Spy spots Rom Armor north of Kiplingville, writes a farewell letter; Goofyville RB Fighter.

1846 Gk ships move back away from Rodentia? Rom DD attacks ours near Lutetia. Romans land near ThMt; 'Clad sink ship, CL kills Rifles and Cannon. PPan Wine and EuroD Hides to Hangchow 450 & 127; Teoti Cu to MK 266 (huh?). Wounded DD spots Rom DD stacked with other unit(s), Rom Armor retreated to hill. Gk DD just out of Ftr range from Cola. Txport spots Gk DD near Flicka.

1848 Gk DD sinks Txprt (w/Spy & Partisan). Tintin Temple, MCanal & TLand Airport, MrToad Mkt, NNLand & Matterhorn OilP, MK MassT. Orlando Cloth 24 (+11), DDuck & SWillie Salt to Xinjian 310 (+13) & 300 (+13), Ficka & Mersey Beads 96 & 88, DrunkG Hides 76. Spy sab Rom Txprt safely.

1850 Rom ship sinks our DD. Lab Rats make rockets, think about bigger rockets. ChinaF & PPan Temple, Jungle & DisneyC & Pixar & Lilo Mkt, SWilly OilP, Anaheim & Stitch Airport. 2 Spies lost sabotaging enemy ships.

Leave most tweaking to successor. Airports are expensive, so I had bumped taxes up to 40%. Pending activity north to south:
Gems to Byzantium followed by Cavalry
Ship delivering Gold to PiratesoCarib
Ship with Wine heading to Veii, although that might be dangerous.
Ship with Salt heading to Xinjian (seemed to work well before, tho SWilly and DDuck have Shwys)
Should be specials hidden NW beside DisneyC, 2 tiles SW of Goofy and E beside Kipling, and 2 possible NE & SW of Columbia.
EuroD needs more open terrain.

Well this weekend I am preparing to move house. It's been one thing after another recently. I will try and use an evening this week, but if I don't make it by Friday someone else should use the valuable weekend to play on, since this game is taking a while.
