  • Are we still taking requests in here?

I'm currently reworking the graphics on Crises of the New World Order, inspired by typhoon's excellent infantry units. I've got pretty much every unit replaced by prettier, more consistent looking ones, but I'm still missing a few. Those few are:

    AEGIS Cruiser
    AWACS
Advanced Fighter (something generic but slightly futuristic looking would be nice)
    Conscripts
    Container Ship
    FFG Frigate
Freight Truck (I was thinking of a Volvo or DAF truck, as opposed to an American-style big rig here)
    Missile (cruise missile)
    Nuke
    Orbital Weapons Platform
    Passenger Ship
    Peace Envoy
SAM Launcher (Nemo's old SA-6 Gainful is starting to show it's age a bit)
Spy Plane (anyone fancy having a go at a SR-71 Blackbird?)

    Any takers?

    • IRA for Patine

      @Patine:
I noticed on the Flags thread that you were after an IRA shield, I figured you might want a unit to go with it I basically just modified the SAS unit I adapted from Typhoon's for my British Northern Ireland troops. Ironic if you know anything about the troubles

I made three units: Two in the same pose, but with different shield designs; one modified from the Falklands units that appeared recently, just to give you an alternative pose.

        • Anyone got any PUK (Kurdish Militia) Units?

          • I already have an unit-update on my HDD, we used it in PBEMs over @ CDG. I didn't do it myself though, kobra and some others did.

            • I had a go at a PUK member, based on this picture:

              • Wow! What an explosion of great units!

I did attempt a Crisis update at CDG- but Arthedain did a better job than I. You can find it at CDG forums.

Say what, you can cobble his, vodakov's, and my efforts together into something presentable. I'll help where I can, just ask

                • Basically, it's just a modification of one of typhoon's.

As I stated earlier, I didn't do it. Eivind/kobra did most of it with help of ofthers IIRC.
