You are indeed correct Broken_Erika that many of the engineers who worked on the Arrow project did indeed go on to work for NASA. If I remember correctly, a special job fair was held in Toronto and organized by NASA specifically for engineer's who were laid off when the Arrow was scrapped.
I think I will take a crack at rendering out the Arrow in the fairline style. The most advanced interceptor fighter of its generation and the next generation deserves a Civ II unit to represent it.

i once tried to squeeze nemo units into strategic command but they had to be reduced to like 58 percent size, they were rather unrecognizable after that, i had trouble telling the difference between fighters and tanks
another thing, i can't seem to find a fairline style jeep, has anyone made one?I am not delusional! Now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go dance with the purple wombat who's playing show-tunes in my coffee cup!

Here's the units file from the latest installation in my Blitzkrieg 1936 scenario. A major update made to the scen. Version 3 is out! A cool, but useless, feature added is optional BLACK AND WHITE grpahics style. There's plenty of more useable changes as well of course... Check it out now!
