You forgot to mention the driver's seats were made in the small hamlet of Bad Loosser from specially bred Frisian cows.

Apologies to none-tank-geeks for sustaining this 'my tank book is better than your tank book' nonsense

      • Come on guys, own up. You haven't been getting these tid bits from one single book at all. You've been scowering the net, gathering all the information so that you can claim you're book is...er....the UBER book.

Blah. Artistically speaking I couldn't draw a StuG that didn't look like a Ford Model T7, but tank books? ... Oh wherefore art thou my beloved ultramega tank book?

            • Anyone have any luck with a Stummorser Sturmtiger?

              • Here is my terrible attempt...

As you can see i didn't get all that far, but so far the "turret" is right where I wanted it, but I can't get it to look right on the far side in the front, and I couldn't get the gun to look right at all, any help??

Someone can edit this one if it would be easier...

                • Well, it's looking good so far Pap. Do you know though that only about 18 Sturmmorser Tigers were ever converted? So is anybody really gonna use them in a scenario?

                  • I realize this Caspian, but it is in my scenario and it costs a heck of a lot, so the player could really only build it if he has a lot of resources available.

                    • Kewl. These weapons were produced after Stalingrad for city fighting. However, by that time the German need for them was gone. I guess a good German player may do better and have a use.

                      • Another possibility would be to combine the existance of the Sturmtiger with a special event. I did it in my scenario with the Tiger II. The Tiger II cannot be build by the player but a certain event has to occur to get this unit.

                        • Well, in reality all of the Sturmmorsers were converted from battle damaged Tigers. Maybe you can have them created if a Tiger is destroyed. Possibly in one or two event files until the player can produce them themselves. These first examples could be the converted Tigers and once you have discovered the tech, the factories could be building them from scratch.

                          • Pap: try making the top of the tank a darker shade of gray, the the far side wont contrast so much.

                                Perish the thought, Caspian

OK, tank freaks, buy this book:
Encyclopedia of German Tanks of World War Two by Chamberlaine and Doyle

It's excellent bedtime reading for all tank-spotter anoraks and other semi-autistics.
