I thought the ones you and Scott made were pretty good. I liked them

          • Wow, I was not thinking straight!!

Those are great guys and I am going to use them in my scenario, but what if I told you I was looking for a Sturmmorser Sturmtiger?

Sorry about the confusion, but I know there hasn't been one made yet that I saw.

            So to clarify, Sturmorser Sturmtiger...

            • I think this is the unit that Pap was thinking of. I found it on the net and posted a while back. It is kinda nemo-esque although it is too small and the colours are wrong. Sturmmorser Tiger:-

              • Yeah, that is the one I saw, I was wondering if anyone could edit a Jagdtiger and turn it into a Sturmmorser Strumtiger or to even start from scratch. I tried for about 2 hours I just couldn't get the front to look right and I couldn't get the gun how i wanted it.

rubbish My tank book is all powerful:

The chassis numbers for the Jagpanther were 300001 - 300392. It used a SflZFf5 gunsight and it had a Maybach HL230P30 engine. Its radio was an FuG5 + FuG2. I don't know what any of this means, but it impresses the hell out of me.

I rest my (very sad) case

In 1927, Germans designed two self-propelled guns based on fully tracked tractors. First was 3.7cm WD Schlepper 25PS, which was a lightly armored 25hp WD tractor with pedestal mounted 37mm PaK L/45 gun. Second was 7.7cm WD Schlepper 50PS, which was 50hp Hanomag tractor with pedestal mounted 77mm K light gun. Both self-propelled guns were accepted into service with the German Army in 1927.

I hope this were the things you meant

I think the sIG33 auf PzKw I ausf B (dontcha love those German vehicle names) was the only SP gun-proper in service in France in 1940. They were issued to the sIG (heavy gun) companies of 6 panzer divisions, so it would be appropriate to use them as a civ unit even though only 30-odd were in service. Tanelorn did a nice graphic for one.

You forgot to mention the driver's seats were made in the small hamlet of Bad Loosser from specially bred Frisian cows.

Apologies to none-tank-geeks for sustaining this 'my tank book is better than your tank book' nonsense
