  • They're great, I especially like the two-seater
"You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye Who cheer when soldier lads march by, Sneak home and pray you'll never know The hell where youth and laughter go." -- Siegfried Sassoon, 'Suicide in the Trenches'
"What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." - Oscar Wilde

    • Can I make a request for an East Asian cavalry from pre-WW2 and into the early years of the land war in China(Chinese, Japanese, and Thai, specifically; one unit that can be used for all three). If someone could help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

      • I was going through my unit graphics and I forgot about these German halftracks I made some time ago.

These were meant for an Afrika Korps scenario that I was working on.

All of these German half-tracks are based on actual half-tracks used by the German Armed forces in WWII.

They range from command vehicles to troop carriers, from mortar units to anti-tank gun carriers, AA units, and more.

Please feel free to use any of these units you like.

                Heheh

I temporariy left that scenario to work on another game.

However, I spent so much time modding that other game (over a period of months) that I was simply burned out from modding.

I haven't done any work on any graphics or games for months.

                    Thanks for the drink Curt

                    heheh

When I modded that other game (it was the entire game), I thought it would just take a couple of weeks to do. I had no idea it would turn into the modding pit from hell. . .

I completed it, but I have had no desire to mod anything since then.

                    I hope this feeling passes. . .

But until then, please stick around, as your advice is always valuable!

I'll always be around the Civ2 community.

Always lots of interesting stuff, scenarios and units to keep us all coming back for more. . .

ToT units made largely for Tech's wonderful Operation Market Garden scenario. The Panther and JagdPanther are of course Catfish re-skins of Nemo tanks.

Btw, I really want to play that scen, but I can't load it. Do I need an update patch or something for ToT. I only have the version that follows with the CD.

                            • Thanks Eivind, and yes you need to patch the game and also remove the spr file. It's all described in detail in Techumseh's readme

This png file is to give some idea of the units. DON'T use it in game - use the bmp in the zip posted above!
