I dunno, maybe your right Case Are these any better?
Bear in mind that Australians and New Zealanders towards the end of the pacific campaign tended to wear US olive green fatigues rather more than British-pattern jungle fatigues

Just to boast a little, I recently picked up a first edition copy of Field Marshal Slim's Defeat into Victory at a second hand book sale for $10 It's full of fold out maps and is very cool.'Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be - or to be indistinguishable from - self-righteous sixteen year olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.'

Lots better
The Australians wore a odd mix of British, American and Australian uniforms, the exact mix of which often differed from soldier to soldier and battalion to battalion (the Australian Army has never been particularly enthusiastic on enforcing uniform guidlines in combat zones).
The XIV tactical sign was for the British/Indian 14 Army, which was the major command in the Burma theatre.

Is it a good read? For those not in the know, Slim is regarded as perhaps the best British general of WW2; he took over command of 14th Army and fought a successful campaign to drive the Japanese back through Burma.

Looking great, guys!
M3 Stuart/Grant, Cromwell, M36 Jackson:
I was bored at work today so I had a humble try at that magical face lift thing Fairline does to old nemo units. Pretty pathetic try...
Although they don't look magnificent as Fairline's tanks, they're still an excellent lifting

10$! Are you sure there was no petty larceny involved? Btw, has anyone looked at Meiktila 1945? This could be an interesting scenario topic.
If you ever find Burne's book on Mesopotamia for a similar price, I bet you could make profit on its resale.
