'My' CA-15 Kangaroo fighter may be what you're after - it's a tweaked version of Nemo's P-51, and while it looks a lot like a Mustang, it's different enough to make a potential generic fighter (though some more tweaking is probably necessary)

Its great, but I think something more "noticable" tweak could be done (I mean that like people can see a difference between Nemo and Case )
