Engineers wonder at trade vehilcle
CEUAD Called to Investigate
An Italian frieght was spotted approaching the French CUE province by a group of engineers cultivating the orchards outside Dijon. Knowing Italy's and the CUE's tariff policies towards one another, they contacted the authorities. Hence the CUEAD's first mission, to discover the type and heading of the cargo. They will report back soon.
Ottoman Engineers Lost!
An Ottoman Engineer Division was spotted directly outside the city limits of the city Amiens. Residence wonder how these people could have gotten so lost. Visiting Germans said that it must have been the good German beer.
Autobon Plans Proposed!
German City and Urban Designers proposed a new way to connect the major cities of the CUE, by that of Autobon. These structures are thick concrete designed for personal autovehicular use. These AutoVehicles, though very primative now, are begining to become more sophisticated, and a new VolksVehicle (V V) is being proposed to fit the need of the people once they see the efficiency of the Autobon. These connections will be significant for personal use, though industrial and national transport will continue with the extensive rail system layed out.Attached Files

Reports of a UTE(Unidentified Turkish Engineer) from German occupied France, seem to be wrong. And we believe the Germans have gotten their hands on the fine Turkish Hash that is being distributed around Europe for medical purposes

ELECTIONS IN BRITAIN!!!
Smith wins by second landslide
This month the british public went out the the polls in record numbers to vote for who they wanted to be the next prime minister. Gary Smith won by a landslide, which most experts were predicting. It seems his inititives of laying railroad all over britain, thus securing thousands of jobs had pleased the electorate, and also taxes are at their lowest for a century, inflation is as a record breaking 2% and intrest rates at a respectable 7%.
This means that people who have put their savings into the bank of england are getting a better than average increase, but it hasnt put people off taking money out in loans, because the pay off each month is so much smaller. Smith took all the seats he won last time and also picked up a few in london, normally a Tory stronghold. Richmond, Chelsea, Kensington all swung radically to the liberal camp.
This gives Smith 590 out of the 650 seats, a huge majority, and means that he can continue to pass reforms helping the poor, but also big businesses.
Mr Smith shuffled his cabinet round slightly with Herbert Asquith becoming deputy Prime Minister, David Lloyd George becoming Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir Edward Grey keeping his position of Foreign Secretary and a surprising young man just making his name in Politics is appointed Home Secretary, that mans name is Winston Churchill.
Mr Smith is expected to keep the country on its present course, concillitary but with the threat of force, and of course will keep up his own personal friendship with the German Prime Minister Ioannes. The King, Edward VII, at the state opening of parliment broke the normal silence to congratulate Mr Smith on his second term of office.
Also Mr Smith is looking to pass an act which makes the Prime Ministers office active for 6 years instead of the usual four, this is because 4 years isnt normally enough to get their policys pass, it is expected to pass with only minor opposition, because even the opposition seems to be happy, hardly putting up a wimper in any bills Mr Smith passes.
Other News
In other news the Royal Navy has recalled all its ships back to ports in the med, this is for refits and upgrades and also just repairing, as most of the ships have been there, and sailing for over 5 months now. The Admiralty decided they needed a rest.
Also almost all of england is covered in rails, with only the progress in scotland behind schedule, but this is expected due to the hilly nature of the terrain. But engineer brigades from england are being sent up their, on their new rails.
The Royal Air Force was formed this month, with the first Airship being commisioned and actually flying this time. The designs were kindly donated by the Germans. The Newly formed RAF is going to be built up until it can defend the skys above britain.Attached FilesMaps, Maps, MORE MAPS!!!!

Smith says the RAF will defend the skies...
but defend them from what I ask?
The only other nation with an airforce is the German Empire, a trusted ally of the brittish...
...It is clear that Brittain is trying to justify an increased millitary buildup at the same time as she is refiting her navy, what I ask, might be the reason for this? She is either allied or at cordial peace with all of her european neighbors...
...Therefore it is the view of this writer that Italy and the Mediterenean league must quickly utilize thier newly won wealth into thier virtually non existant defence budgets...

Sir Edward Grey, upon reading the editorial from the leading italian newspaper issued his terse reply.
"It seems to me that this 'leading italian newspaper', is anything but, to suggest that britain is trying to justify building up its military is absurd. Britain has no need to justify any military build up, it is no other nations business."
"Of course the report is eronous in one respect, it should have read that the air force will be protecting the skys above the british empire, not just britain itself, and in any way of looking at it, if you dont keep your armed forces up to scratch you invite war, only by appearing strong can you avert war. France of course never learnt this lesson."
"So in conclusion, britain has a right to do what they wish in the waters they control, britannia doesnt rule the waves for nothing, and when the HMS Empire reaches the med, we invite the Mediterenean League to come and have a look at the marvelous worksmanship that has been put into it."
After this comment Sir Grey left to join in a cabinet meeting, content unknown.Maps, Maps, MORE MAPS!!!!
