Hello all! I've been away for a while, but picked up the civ bug again recently, which has spurred me on to finish some graphics tart-ups for three classic scenarios previously converted to ToT. All three are set in the late 19th Century, and necessarily share a lot of units.
The first of these is Phenix Benton's (Exile) multiplayer favourite Imperialism 1870. Catfish has meticulously converted V3 to ToT, and links to this and other Catfish conversions can be found on his site http://users.tpg.com.au/jpwbeest/index.htm (in links section - scenarios are hosted at CFC). Curt was the driving force behind this gfx update, and he has contributed the wonderful cities, terrain (along with a selection of Catfish stuff), improvements and icons. People and units are mine.
Ciaran has created some static sprites to remove health bars from a couple of units as Vista 64 won't let me use SpriteGen (help!). There are two versions, one for use with cntrl-z zoomed-in viewing and the other for Shift-z normal view. I've included a bat file to switch between the two; let me know if this doesn't work as good ole Microsoft Vista 64 no longer supports choice.com, and choice.exe doesnt work for me either (help #2!), so I can't use the bat myself.
