I have just added Petit's modified version of Bonaparte to the scenario's page on the SL Site:
Petit's Bonaparte Mod
As well as new graphics there are also some very interesting changes to the game itself. Good work Gapetit!
I have also given the page a face-lift to bring it up to standard. This is the first of many modified scenarios I plan to add.
BTW can anybody point me to the post with the ToT version of Bonaparte please?Last edited by McMonkey; June 11, 2009, 16:35.

Great stuff Gareth. Looks like the urge to modify is nothing new! I will add links to these threads underneath the Community projects section of the Info page and start working my way through them. I just need to get myself a bit more organized and I should be able to get this project chugging along quite nicely

On the North American Civil War there are few scenarios in mge or fw, alone I know the excellent scenario of Alex and Nemo, whose last version is of 1998! And it is in civ-2 originally...
Certainly this one would be a good scenario to modify because his possibilities and developments of units and action are great...
To encourage those who want to modify or to create a new scenario in this epoch I have adapted to mge-fw some of the magnificent units created by Fairline...

Good work Petit. I will take a look at applying these units to Alex and Nemo's Civil War Scenario when I get a chance. That's if you don't do it first. I will also add these Civil War units to the great big compilations I am slowly making. I still love MGE for the sheer number of units available and of course it is the standard version for multiplayer games.
This morning I re-downloaded your graphics mods from this thread and the SL Site archive and unzipped them. I then sorted them into ones that already have a page on the SL Site and ones that need a page on the SL Site. I will try and add one a day minimum and when that is done I will start on the ToT conversions. I may need to find out the names of some of the scenarios and where to download them so if you wouldn't mind keeping an eye on this thread.

To keep myself on target I just added Petit's Casus Belli graphics mod and the Casus Belli ToT conversion to the scenarios page on the SL Site and gave the page a bit of a tidy up. More to follow!

Also added the ToT conversion of Bonaparte and Typhoon's graphics mod for it. The page was getting into a bit of a mess but I think I have worked out the Wiki system now so the pages will be getting a little tidy up.

Looks like Catfish is way ahead of me in the ToT conversion stakes. Take a look at the Civ2 Downloads at CFC. I will eventually post these conversions on the SL Site too but for now I will concentrate on conversions, mods and scenarios without a home, poor things

Should I create separate pages for ToT conversions? Should be relatively quick to do. What do you guys think?
Anyway, the ToT conversion of Sengoku Jidai: The Age of the Country at War with new units by Fairline has been added to the SL Site: SengokuJidai

Good work on the SL wiki, McM. It's nice to see the classic Civ2 scenarios brought up to date.

McMonkey great work. It's very well.
Help!! I have modified the scenenario of Alex and Nemo: American Civil War. I have added many more units realized by Fairline, and other small changes (more action, etc.) seeking not to spoil the original one ... but as the European civilizations they were attacking when it gives them the desire, and I do not have the sufficient knowledge to control this; I decided to realize one more change, that not like it will prove: Union and rebels are in peace with the European, but these powers are in situation of war and alliance with those ... as will ai answer to this situation? I have not even idea... But if it goes out well those will not attack and it will be possible support diplomatic relations of exchange...
On having been in English I neither put very much text in the evens nor translated the new diplomatic dialogs that have to be produced in the game ... other developments and units? You design, changes, etc.

Perhaps this scenario was designed using FW where the AI was less agressive than with MGE? I'm sure there will be a way to sort out the AI behavior. I will take a look. I haven't played this old classic for years so I'm looking forward to trying out this visually stunning mod!
